This is a lovely inn in a great location in Sonoma. However, I was disappointed in the food and beds. For breakfast in July in this foodie town, the inn served apples and bananas. Also, each of the three days I was there, the breakfast entree contained cheese --not great for someone who doesn't eat dairy products. Also the bed... More

We absolutely LOVED the Inn at Sonoma. This was the best 3 days of our 8 days in Northern California. Cannot wait for the cookbook either. Great location to walk to dinner (best place we ever ate (anywhere) was the Portuguese place). Location to Napa and Sonoma wineries was fabulous too. We want to come back and stay here and... More

We had a room in the new building--the deluxe vintners spa. Great room, with fireplace and large bathroom. Great included breakfast and cocktail hour. Fantastic location for walking to the square. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Our only caveat--The deluxe vintners king spa room in the new building has beautiful but very deep spa tub/shower combination which requires one... More

We loved our stay here, and would certainly return when we come back to Sonoma. The service at the inn is impeccable--the staff are so friendly and helpful, and will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. Our room (#5) was well appointed--I loved the decor and the comfort and size of the room and... More

We stayed at this inn several years ago on our first visit to Sonoma. We branched out a bit in the last few years visiting northern wine country and Napa. We were happy to return to The Inn at Sonoma and find it was still a comfortable and lovely place to stay.

Breakfast, wine and food at happy hour, friendly staff, great location, very nice rooms. This is a wonderful place to stay in Sonoma. We stayed in room 14 and the only negatives were not very good TV reception and some limited noise from the hot tub area when used. The other rooms didn't seem to have these issues. It was... More

Very nice property. The room was clean and quiet. We stayed in the outer building on the second floor - no elevator but not a problem. Location to center of town was very convenient. The morning breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese a classy touch. The staff was extremely friendly with good advice on wineries and other sights to see.... More

Our stay at the Inn at Sonoma was the highlight of six hotel properties on our visit to southern California. The architecture was pleasing, the staff friendly and willing to go beyond the call of duty, the afternoon wine and cheese and breakfast top-notch, and our room was remarkable. Definitely worth the cost. While bicycles were available on-site we discovered... More

Very comfortable, attractive hotel. Very comfortable room, shower, balcony. Hotel entrance, foyer, and front patio were pretty and comfortable. We enjoyed the wine tasting in the afternoon and found the buffet to be much more than we were expecting. Very nice. Breakfast in the morning was excellent: fruit, pastries, and a nice egg frittata. Coffee and tea available around the... More

The Inn had wonderful food for breakfast and a wine tasting in the afternoon. Parking was convenient - so easy! We could walk to dinner trying the helpful suggestions from the staff. After a day of driving around we came back to try the hot tub on the sun deck & we had it to ourselves…! Our room was comfy... More
