A very nice hotel on the outskirts of Sonoma. We had a nice big room and bathroom which were very modern and tastefully decorated. There was a nice small swimming pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good quality with plenty of options for all tastes. Some minor negatives: There weren't really enough seats in the breakfast room - perhaps everyone... More

The hotel is older, but very well maintained and extremely clean. I am very fussy about cleanliness, so I felt comfortable and relaxed. This is not a cookie-cutter hotel with no personality. The decor included heavy oak furniture and art featuring the surrounding area. The breakfast selection was fairly extensive and included a delicious quiche. The front desk staff was... More

The amenities were very quaint. Well manicured and unique exterior. The inside of the rooms certainly weren't fancy, but it is a great value for a Sonoma/Napa trip. It is a brisk walk to the downtown Sonoma square, with a nice looking wine bar across the street. A bit further away from the square than some other places, but really... More

Stayed from November 1, 2014-November 7, 2014. Central location, about 1 mile from town. The beds are very comfortable. Very convenient to town. If I return to Sonoma I will stay there again. Plenty to do in the area in addition to wine tours.

Seems as though most reviewers either love or hate the El Pueblo. As motels in Sonoma Valley go, El Pueblo is rather inexpensive. True, it is an older motel and as such the soundproofing could be better. However, it seems the management tries really hard to do the best they can. The property is rather small, but landscaped very nicely... More

Great location close to the historic town square in Sonoma. Bikes available to rent, or you can walk. Plenty of parking. Reasonably priced stay for the area, and included a wonderful continental breakfast each day with quiche, fresh squeezed juices, lots of fruit, cereals, breads, baked goods - better than many chain hotel offerings. More of a "lodge" feel than... More

Stayed 2 nights in September. The central garden was peaceful - lovely plantings and fountains. Room is comfortable - lots of wood details with more updated bathroom. Appreciate and applaud the green efforts! Breakfast was tasty with many choices. I did walk to and from town - easy! If you are touring the wineries, the location is a good launch... More

This is a motel. In the advertisements, it seems like you will be staying at a pretty nice establishment, but upon showing up, you quickly realize it is a motel. The room did not even have a flat screen TV and for $300 a night, you expect a lot more. I rarely write reviews, but I felt robbed based on... More

We stayed there at the end October 2014 and loved it. The people at the reception were nice, and we loved the fact that everyone has to sign a "contract" on respecting the silence rules. We really needed to rest! Our room was beautiful, quiet and the bed extra comfortable. Everything was clean and modern. The hot tub was great!... More

Iif it weren't for the breakfast here is wouldn't fare as well. But the breakfast is really nice with fresh and dried fruits, cereal, quiche, and the expected items. Rooms are ordinary. The carpet in ours badly needed a cleaning. Bathrooms are old but still working. The location works well as a starting point for vineyards in both Sonoma and... More
