I was touring the Sonoma Valley and decided to use the hotel as a base to visit the winery's which was a perfect decision. The hotel is perfectly situated and very cozy. The room was on the small side but confortable and we were welcome with a bottle of wine which was a nice surprise. The hotel has a very... More

We spent two wonderful nights here in their most basic of rooms, which was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful and the self parking very convenient. I would recommend it for couples especially seeking a romantic getaway.

Stayed here this past weekend with my husband having left our babe at home for the first time. We were lucky enough to get a good deal otherwise instead of being underwhelmed I'd be angry. Arrived at the hotel in the evening after wine tasting. Driving up to the hotel it feels like it's in a pretty sketchy area. Once... More

Dear JVFH, Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I was disappointed to read that your stay was only “okay” and not the exceptional that we strive for. I am glad you so enjoyed the cuisine and warm service. Kind regards, Guest Service Manager More

Stayed here for 3 days in November while visiting Napa and Sonoma. The bottle of wine waiting for us in our room was a great way to start our vacation. The hotel is perfectly tucked away on quiet and peaceful grounds, and still a close distance to all the best spots in wine country. The room was fresh, breezy and... More

Having stayed at the Fairmont Mayakoba last spring with one of the best spas I've ever spent time at, the spa at the Mission really left me thinking they need to sink some money and attention into it. The hotel was lovely, awesome lobby, with fabulous staff, including the resident sommelier/concierge. Would definitely come back but not spend my money... More

We always stay at the Fairmont Mission Inn in Sonoma when we go wine tasting in the area. It is just like a home away from home. It is close to many wineries and very close to the downtown square with shops and restaurants. We have stayed other places, but this is home.

Back in the 70's there was a song 'Delta Dawn' that asked; "What's that flower you've got on? Is it just a faded rose of days gone by?" Adding the Fairmont name to the old Sonoma Mission Inn did not do a thing to restore its faded glory. While the staff was courteous, prompt to help and very friendly they... More

Did an overnight Sonoma trip while visiting friends in San Francisco. The resort is lovely. It is an historic building with lots of character. Curbside reception was seamless and welcoming. Our rooms were on the very small third floor of the hotel, and not served by elevators, which was no problem for us traveling for an overnight--I suppose if it... More

Our stay was absolutely perfect. We stayed in a Mission Suite, which I'd highly recommend. Service, whether the valet, restaurant, spa, or room service, was also fantastic. We'd return in a heartbeat.

My daughter and I spent the weekend there. We didn't use the spa services but just used the mineral water pools and jacuzzi. The breakfast was great. The hotel is the best place to stay in sonoma. You feel special from the moment you set foot in this property.
