We stayed here as part of a family vacation to California. The room was very nice, although I do agree with other reviewers that they could use some room updates. They had a display in the lobby that indicated that they plan an update. The decor had an 80s feel to it. That said, the room was clean and comfortable.... More

We stayed here in April in one of the cottage suites and loved it. The bed was very comfortable - and we loved the fireplace in the room. Our suite had a little couch & coffee table - and the bathroom had an area with a mirror and chair where I could get ready without being in the same area... More

From the moment we walked in we enjoyed this property. The restaurants, gorgeous gardens, pool, and fires and candles in the evening all made it quite special. The rooms are spacious, very quiet, and have great fireplaces. A small seating area outside was great for sharing a bottle of wine. Comfy beds, water bottles, and Aveda products made the rooms... We stayed here for five nights over Labor Day weekend on points. This was our second time staying here, as we were here two nights for our honeymoon two years ago. This time around, we were able to enjoy the property more. Sometimes when you are staying on points, you're stuffed into the smallest, least desirable room, but that wasn't... More

We stayed here toward the end of a 3 week road trip and were really happy that we did. The pool, gardens, lobby and staff are all fantastic. Our room was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the afternoon wine tasting and the world wide into Sonoma for the evening. All in all it was very relaxing and one of the... More

We recently stayed at the Lodge- in a beautiful cottage. All of the staff are wonderful- the accommodations were very nice - the pool area and the outdoor fireplaces warm and inviting. We had a delicious meal at Carneros Bistro restaurant and excellent coffee and bakery in the Bean and Bottle- But the trip was made completely amazing by our... More

We stayed at this hotel to celebrate a friend's wedding. The property was pretty. We enjoyed the pool and also, the lobby areas were nice. I'm a sucker for a property that always has cucumber water at the ready. The location is very convenient to Sonoma square. We have traveled a fair amount and experienced a little bit of sticker... We were in the Sonoma area for the Indycar Grand Prix (Sonoma Raceway is about a 15 minute drive from the hotel) and stayed at the Lodge for one night after the race. The hotel is in a somewhat odd location. On the one side, hidden behind a fence, is an electrical power substation. On the other side is a... More

Pretty pricey, but probably reasonable for the wine country at peak season. Friendly and accommodating staff. Large room, comfortable bed. Our package included Happy Hour wine tasting and breakfast at the co-located Carneros Restaurant -- both first class. If you stay here, get one of the many cottages.

Picked this hotel to celebrate Hubby's birthday. Beautiful hotel and great location. I was slightly disappointed in the room. While very nice, I had paid extra for an upgrade...which I didn't think should have included a view of the roof. The staff was fabulous and accomodating and moved us to a cottage room. These are not actually in the main... More
