Lovely landscaping and great service. This place has been updated and renovated and the cottage rooms are fantastic. We brought our in-laws here and loved every minute. We have NO complaints. The staff made it clear that they were here to make our stay more comfortable. More

We just spent a girls weekend in a cottage room for 3 nights. The room was VERY small. Two beds and a love-seat-sofabed that was ricketey and noisy and not comfortable. Their Queen rooms only have ONE bed, so we would've had to get 3 rooms if they didn't offer this cottage room. The picture on the internet showed it... More

My best friend and I met in wine country for a girl's weekend. She traveled from east coast and I came from orange county. We arrived at the lodge at 10:30 pm and asked if there was any way to get a snack, we were told the bar was closed and room service also stopped at 10. Somehow they manged... More

Good location. Just minutes from the downtown square. We stayed in a king cottage with a fire place that was roomy, quite, comfortable and very up to date. In fact the whole hotel had apparently been recently remodeled and looked brand new. The grounds were beautiful. We ate at their restaurant (Carneros) our first night and although a little pricey... We stayed at this property before and really had a great time. This time we were celebrating our 50th year of marriage and wanted something special. On arrival we found that they had lost our reservations. They did correct this problem. Secondly, when we went for our spa time to have massages-- guess what--lost our reservations. I had actually talked... More

We were married at the Lodge 5 years ago and returned April 22-24 to celebrate our anniversary. The property has had a facelift in the lobby, restaurant and pool area - all very clean, modern and attractive. Our room was a cottage - which we loved. The cottage rooms are located away from the main street. We love how you... More

We just got back from a 5 night stay in a King Cottage room using Marriott points. If I had paid for this room I would have been extremely disappointed. The bed was great, the shower was extremely small, the room itself a bit worn looking. We were either freezing or hot in the room - even with a one... More

We had a great experience at this property. Our room faced the pool and had a fireplace and was very updated and clean. The new lobby and bar area is gorgeous, the service by bellman, front desk, restaurant was great. The cheese and salami selection in the new bar area was great and the breakfast at the main restaurant was... More

I stayed here for a conference and got a good rate - but the pictures and hotel writeup characterize it as more of a resort - where it's really closer to a fancy Residence Inn. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, good bar and very friendly staff. Just not a resort in the luxury sense, which the website seems to imply. More

I immediately was a little bit put off because it was right on the road leading into sonoma. Not very quaint. They were working on the lobby to crate a new wine and coffee bar. They worked really fast, but it was quite disruptive and they never said anything to us about it when we made reservations. We stayed in... More
