Visited as part of a group for a retirement party. Company picked hotel based on location, availability and the fact that most of our group are Marriott Rewards members. Upon check in we received a "lodge" room. The room was nice, had a small sitting space, gas fireplace, separate show and tub and nice bed. The decor and buildings are... More

If you want to stay somewhere central and stylish this is a great property! The welcoming and energetic staff at reception and Tammy (calls herself a Navigator) on conceirge they are passionate about the areas and generous with suggestions. Tammy provided her business card which allowed us compliementry tastings at a few wineries and she gave us great recommendations for... More

The lodge was our last stop during a long weekend to Sonoma. We were fortunate to stay on property at a winery, and so only needed a hotel for an evening. However, my husband had just finished staying there for a week, for business. We both think that it was a lovely experience, and a great way to finish our... More

Our second stay at the Lodge - wonderful hotel, great room with high ceilings, fireplace, well appointed. Hotel has a garden feel, with rooms in small two-story buildings spread out along a well-landscaped walk. Just a short drive or shuttle ride to the square in Sonoma for shopping and browsing, wine tasting. In the heart of the Napa-Sonoma wine country.... More

a "pool view" unless it's on the second floor. We did but with the other guests outside your window you have to close the blinds and you don't see anything and have a closed in feeling. Other than that we really enjoyed the hotel. We just chilled out without doing much. My wife enjoyed the spa. It is a relaxing... More

My husband and I stayed at this property the week of Thanksgiving. We have stayed here quite a few times before because of its great location in wine country and the fact that it is a Marriott so we can use our rewards points. The hotel is right in the town of Sonoma and is walking distance to the town... More

The problem with this property is that the rooms are very dated, we paid an extra amount for the cottages expecting a 4 star experience. Instead we got a room with possibly the smallest shower I have ever seen, the "soaking tub" had a back which was straight up, precluding any recline at all. The overall finish of the room... More

We selected The Lodge based on other Tripadvisor reviews and were very pleased. Beautiful grounds, professional, helpful staff, very responsive Room Service should you choose to dine in and an equally responsive shuttle service to go to downtown Sonoma or be picked up to return to the hotel. We also enjoyed a great couples massage at the very nice Spa.... More

Love The location. A very comfortable hotel with easy access. Good price for the area. Nice pool and grounds. Very friendly staff and a helpful concierge , Maximilian, to direct guests to tasting rooms in the historical downtown square in Sonoma. Free shuttle from8 am tll 1045 pm, very convenient if you want to go tasting and not drive.

This was a second visit having stayed at the Lodge a couple of years ago for a wedding. This time a combination of business, reunion and a family gathering. We had three of the comfortable cabins near the pool. I hear that they are about to refurbish these but they are already very comfortable, well equipped and excellently maintained. The... More
