The Lodge at Sonoma was a pleasant surprise. The general areas are done very tastefully, the bar and restaurant great space and value. The overall appearance is simplicity with style in the Sonoma valley way. The resort is located about a mile from downtown Sonoma with transportation available when you are ready to go. Sleeping rooms pleasant and the lodges... More

This hotel is about 1 mile from Town Square where all the restaurants and shopping are. It is a nice interesting walk if you decide to walk to Town Square. The grounds are immaculate and the staff is very friendly. The decorations are more on the modern side. Rooms are very clean and bedding is very comfortable and cozy. Its... More

Terrific hotel with incredibly friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. Pool area was relaxing. We also quite enjoyed breakfast in the restraint. The online photos don't do justice to the beautiful surroundings in the hotel.

Loved my little cottage with the fireplace and outdoor patio. Such a cozy place to hang out after a long day. The pool and Jacuzzi area was so pretty, with comfy couches, chairs, A great place to hang out in the day or at night to relax. Food at the resort was amazing and the grounds are so very pretty.

In general, I enjoyed my stay here. Units are arranged in a way to keep your privacy. Bed and baths were clean and nice. It made me feel at home. We had a complementary breakfast every morning at the restaurant, and they have a small but quality buffett during weekends. Try the Creme Brulee Oatmeal, mmm... We also took advantage... More

Though the rooms are getting dated, the property is outstanding. Helpful people, shuttle, great dining and fabulous spa. The Renaissance is in a great and quiet location, about a mile from the Square and the hotel has a quick shuttle. the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. The breakfast offering has really improved since our last stay and the spa... More

Great spot close to the center of Sonoma. Our check in was exceptional and the service was outstanding. We stayed in the cottages and I agree that it's time for some updating but it was clean and well appointed for our stay. The staff is fantastic! The parking is convenient. Looking forward to our next visit!

We reserved a cottage with a fireplace, I never expected it to be in a building with 3 other rooms and on the 2nd floor. We paid $269 per night and on the weekend it was over $500 per night. I felt the room was between a residence inn and standard Marriott. When I booked a cottage I expected a... More

This was a first visit to The Lodge at Sonoma. We were upgraded to one of the cottages just beyond the pool area. The cottages are spacious and well appointed. The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating, both at check in and throughout our stay. The nightly wine tasting with different winery representatives was most enjoyable. Both the... My husband and I stayed in Sonoma one night at the Lodge while doing our coast of California road trip. We did a wine trolley tour during the day, spent the evening in downtown Sonoma, and stayed here. The hotel is cute and romantic. The outdoors area is beautiful. Parking is easy. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
