This hotel is lovely. I rented a cottage for the 4 of us- 2 young girls, my mom and myself. The room was clean, well decorated and quiet. It has lots of natural light and is well ventilated. Even though it was quite hot when we traveled, we often opted not to use the A/C and opened the windows instead.... More

This was the second time we have stayed here and we love the rooms and the property. They have a really nice Spa and the service here is wonderful. My only complaint was for breakfast. The selection of pastries is only okay and the price is not the greatest . I can understand city prices but 5.50 for a bottle... More

We opted to stay in Sonoma, rather than Napa to see wine country. This resort was everything we could have asked for. Great location, a healthy walk to the quaint Sonoma downtown square. A shuttle from the lodge runs to the downtown area, or may even take lodgers to local restaurants. The concierge at the hotel was extremely helpful and... More

We just reutrned from a 2 night stay in one of the cottages in the back of property. These are slightly bigger rooms with a separate bath/shower/living room and seprate vanity next to bathroom. Aveda products in the room were a plus! We had a first floor cottage in the back of the property. Very quiet and we did have... More

Overall this is a nice property close to Sonoma square. We took our 3 & 6 year old up for the night just to get away. We stayed in one of the cottages and would ride our bikes down to the square for lunch which was fun. A few general observations about the property. 1. The pool is small and... More

Stayed here for a wedding in Sonoma. Beautiful clean, spacious hotel with several places to dine and drink on the property. The bellmen and front desk were very attentive. This seems like a great place for couples.

I was there with my family, and it was perfect for us, except that the room was only equipped for two persons even though we were four. They have yoga and hiking every morning which were a great start of the day! The yoga teacher was so nice and customize every yoga class to the group for the day. Thank... More

My wife and I booked this hotel to celebrate our anniversary. We only stayed one night but we thought it was a good spot in Sonoma and also an easy drive to Napa. We were able to check in early with the mobile app and they accommodated us when we arrived a little before 1PM. They upgraded us to a... More

We selected the Lodge at Sonoma initially for location and were pleasantly surprised with the charming warmth of both the staff and the hotel/amenities. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and have a very cozy feel that blends well with the locale. The proximity to the square and the complimentary transportation are a great combination (they highly recommend the service... More

My wife and I stayed at The Lodge for one night during our anniversary tour of California. I had booked this property with great expectations but those expectations fell short. First I must mention that a deciding factor on this property was that it is a Marriott affiliated property and I have platinum status with Marriott rewards, which will usually... More
