Great location. The grounds were top notch. Staff was very helpful and professional. Shuttle drivers were prompt and very conscientious. Housekeeping missed a little on the replenishment end. Watched TV one night and was surprised to find that ABC, NBC, and CBS were a grainy analog picture and other channels were digital. Counting the daily resort fee before taxes staying four... More

Overall, we had an excellent experience. Check-in was smooth, Max, a "navigator" (The Lodge's term for concierge), was really helpful and knowledgable. He set us up with a few excellent wineries and wasn't pushy at all. The room was spacious, though relatively plain. The shower knob fixture was falling off, but did not impact the function of the shower. To... More

My husband and I went to Sonoma to drink some vino and relax. That is exactly what we did. We had a massage and just melted after that. The relaxation room was great. Tammy the concierge was outstanding. She planned our two day winery tour and it was perfect.

I enjoyed my stay at The Lodge. This hotel has good amenities and provided lots of interesting activities for the guests. It is the kind of resort hotel that you could practically just there all day long and not get too bored. My only complaint is just the lack of smile from the front desk staff when I check in.... My husband and I stayed at this property last year and liked it so much that we brought friends with us this year. And, of course, they enjoyed it just as much as we did. It is the perfect place to stay after a day of touring Sonoma and Napa. It has a great pool area for relaxing with friends... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this wonderful resort. It is a great base to explore Sonoma & Napa. You can walk to the centre of Sonoma (about 1 mile) or the hotel operate a free shuttle bus service from 8am to 10.45pm so it's great for going to the local restaurants. From the moment we arrived the... More

Had a great stay at the Lodge recently. I highly recommend the cottage rooms, with a nice little patio, fireplace, etc. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bar and restaurant had good food and friendly staff, as well. The hot tub and pool is nice, and the grounds beautiful and full of roses. The shuttle to Sonoma plaza... More

First impression wasn't great (we arrived very late due to detours from the forest fires). After check in, there was no one to help us navigate the dark outdoor paths in the rain to find our room. Once we hauled our luggage up the stairs, we were settled and decided to start fresh the next day. Things improved from day... More

Nice sized room, very clean. Nice pool area with out door seating. walking distance, one mile, to the center of town. Shuttle service is offered into town every 20 min or so, or you can call reception and they will send the van sooner. Shuttle service stops at 11pm. One restaurant with a large bar, had lunch and breakfast there,... More

We stayed here while visiting some wineries in Sonoma. The free shuttle bus was great. However there seemed to be poor communication between the reception and the driver. We were delayed twice as a result but it didn't impact us too much. The facilities and decor is exactly what their website says, a plush luxurious feel to the place. We... More
