Always a Napa guy but so glad that we have decided to give Sonoma a chance. Amazing downtown square with all the nightlife to keep you busy for a week. Lots to see and do. The rooms are aging but very nice and clean. My wife and I are very hotel picky and this is certainly a place we will... More

The Lodge at Sonoma was a lovely place to stay while making our way through wine country. The rooms were set up like little cottages on 2 levels. We were on a second floor and had a lovely view of the blooming trees and gardens surrounding us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Each night there was a wine... More

Stayed at the Lodge in Sonoma, which we thoroughly appreciated. We had the good fortune of having a French hotel navigator, Dominique, who was extremely helpful in planning trips to the wineries. She was able very quickly to get a sense of what kind of places we wanted to visit. We also enjoyed our room, the pool and and the... More

The Lodge is conveniently located on Broadway at the other end of the street from Sonoma City Square, an easy 15 minute walk to the Square. The lodge offers a relaxing "Wine Country" atmosphere combing typical hotel room layouts with small four-plex cottages sprinkled throughout the property. Grounds are uniquely California landscaped, with meandering sidewalks that create "uniquely singular" access... More

We stayed here for a wedding a few weeks ago and had a great weekend. My wife and I were upgraded to a cottage due to our Marriott status and the room was perfect. There was a small but nice fitness center and a nice pool. What keeps me from giving it 5-stars are probably minor but.... 1. No free... More

This was my first time to Sonoma and we picked the Lodge because of its location. This hotel has a very nice restaurant and is also located close to the town center square where there are also great choices for dining. The hotel has a shuttle running regularly. Every place we tried was good. The room was adequate..... Nothing special.... More

Just returned from 6 nights at this resort. Hope to return next year and can't wait. From check in to check out, our stay was superb. Excellent friendly service in all areas. Special thanks to Balti and Olivia for great breakfast service in Carneros bistro. Shuttle drivers Cody and Tristin were a delight. The shuttle service really came in handy... More

Went to Sonoma for our honeymoon. After a fiasco at another hotel in Napa, they sent us to the Lodge in Sonoma instead. The girl at the desk was incredibly friendly and helpful and upgraded us to a suite for our troubles. What a beautiful room! Large bedroom with a living/dining room that had a gas fireplace and a bar.... More

Anything with an attached massage area is now called a spa. This hotel calls itself a resort because they give you "free" water in the lobby. We were originally given a room in an adjacent building -- told it was bigger than most rooms and had a balcony with an expression and wink that we were getting a good deal.... More
