Great location, rooms are very clean, service is outstanding!! Wonderful facilities! We enjoyed the breakfast both a la carte and buffet. Love the free wine tasting every evening. We will come back next year!

Sonoma is always a quick escape from SF. My boyfriend and I have been many times and have stayed at numerous properties. Don't be deceived by the "recent renovations". The lobby was completed recently and looked decent, however our guest room was $750 a night, and for the price, their property and amenities were subpar. We were looking for a... More

I recently stayed at the Lodge in Sonoma and found the hotel very nice, clean with a modern feel but keeping with wine country architecture. The hotel staff was very attentive and the concierge very helpful. The pool is located in a courtyard surrounded by room balconies and views of the valley hills. Located a short drive from beautiful wineries... More

We recently stayed one night at the Lodge. The welcome was great, the room was beautifully appointed and the amenities were superb. The resort fee was worth the wine tasting and lesson in grilling. We appreciated that.

THIS is THE PLACE to stay in Sonoma. It is relatively close to the square - a quick bike ride or a 15 minute walk, or a 2 minute drive. They have terrific amenities - the pool is clean with great seating, especially for families or groups. They have several couch combinations - where you can visit with friends or... More

We stayed for 4 nights at The Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed it! We rented a cottage room near the pool, which was very spacious. The bathroom was great...the bathtub was to die for, although the shower was a bit small. In addition to a nice vanity in the bathroom, there was another vanity with chair between the room and the... My husband and I stayed in a cottage room here in early July. It's an interesting property--nicely landscaped and the cottages are a nice option, even if they really are quite close together. Our room rate was about $175-200 higher than its value. Had it been somewhere in the $300s we'd have given it 5 stars. The pool is small,... More

The cottage was roomy and comfortable. Up to date and modern Automatic gas fireplace was a nice touch. The grounds are well maintained and makes the modest stroll to the main building and pool a pleasant walk. Very friendly people. The restaurant was easily one of the best in the area. Surprisingly great food! Would return again!

Continuing our costal trip, spent the night here as a base camp for July 4th wine country activities. Wonderful location in the heart of Sonoma. Very friendly and helpful staff. Complimentary wine tastings. Nice pool, hot tub. Large, comfortable, clean rooms with nice little balconies and a fire place. Carneros restaurant was a big disappointment with poor service and food.... More

Rooms were nice, but not special. It was nice having a balcony to enjoy the fabulous weather. We enjoyed the wine tastings at night, and the fire pits were great to relax around in the evenings. Service around the pool was frequent and friendly. Location was great, central to everything. Bicycle rental was easy and available and we enjoyed that,... More
