Though only a couple of blocks from the center of Sonoma, while on the property you feel like you are away from it all. The gardens are nice and there is a bit of a planned community feel to the look of the property (not in a bad way). The town of Sonoma itself is quaint and charming with nice shops,... More

Can't recommend this hotel enough! We had two rooms and both were wonderful! Comfortable beds, closet, desk, day bed and a large beautiful bathroom! The hotel layout is especially terrific with several 2 story bungalows of only 4 rooms each, giving it a quaint feeling. The pool was warm and the jacuzzi was warmer, a beautiful relaxing area with the... More

Rooms are very large and close to the city center. Cozy and comfortable. Great shower, a bit difficult to step into it. Great to read a book at night on the patio with a glas of wine. Continental breakfast was basic but nicely presented and good. Overall we liked this place.

First impression as we pulled in to the parking was as though we were in a condominium/ town home units. It just did not feel like an INN. The pictures on the site did not made the same impression in person. With all that said, it is a very clean and comfy place. Our room had everything and felt like... More

We've stayed several times and will continue to come here. Suites are beautiful, but very comfortable. Wine and cheese hour in the library features local wines and the atmosphere is such we met other couples from around the country. The concierge service was impeccable. Reservations made, knowledge about the downtown, and the surrounding wineries. Cannot rave enough. Bravo

My husband and I stayed here celebrating our anniversary and we loved every second. The guest room we were in was beautiful, with its own porch to sit on. The pool area was lovely and relaxing, the wine hour was great, and the staff was wonderful! They made excellent recommendations on where to go/eat/what to see and helped us in... More

I stayed hear for one night which I could've stayed for more the grounds took my breath away. So peaceful and gorgeous. All staff were so pleasant and helpful. The room is like its own separate house with your own private deck. Can't wait to come back.

Enjoyed two nights here. Big room, great bathroom and comfy bed. The daily wine and cheese hour is a nice touch - hosted by different vineyards. The pool was sparkling clean and great for unwinding and cooling down after busy days. The location is pretty central - a 10 minute stroll from the Plaza - and the staff were friendly... More

I had read several reviews and was prepared for a very nice hotel but this place exceeded all expectations. The room was amazing and luxurious with and they truly thought of everything. We've stayed at some very nice hotels but there was something about this one that just was over and above. From the turndown service with Belgian chocolates and... More

I have been here at least 6 times with my 2 sisters. We choose this spa every year although there are certainly others in the area we could select. The main reason we like MacArthur Park is that it is quiet, serene, restful. (then again we always go mid week) Food and wine can be delivered pool side. I always... More
