just the perfect place to stay right before heading to a balloon ride. The stay was from September 5th to the 6th, and over all I sure can recommend this place, the room was small but the bed awesome, service was excellent and I was very pleased. Hopefully next time I stay longer than one night.

Excellent hotel. Room was large and very tastefully appointed. Amazing selection in the mini fridge and the robes were a nice touch. The grounds are very nice with walking paths surrounded by hedges and clearings with sculptures. Pool was very clean and the hot tub was a great way to relax before dinner. Dinner at Saddles was delicious and staff... More

The service, the accommodations, etc. were all WONDERFUL! Having just spent a few days in a cramped Club Quarters in San Francisco this place was a welcomed breath of relaxation! The room was nice and large, bed was big and supportive with a beautiful large bathroom and plenty of SPACE! Highly recommended! It is within walking distance of "downtown" Sonoma... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the MacArthur Place with my family and had the most wonderful experience. My expectations were mediocre, but the service, the rooms, and the facilities are superb. The complementary breakfast was delicious and the front desk kindly provided me with an insulated wine bag with bottles of water as we checked out. I wish... More

This site has a great deal of character---mature plantings, nicely landscaped grounds, unique and charming atmosphere. The room was superb and I would have given it a 5 except that 1)the removable shower weighed a ton and was very unwieldy and 2) the "cold" water in the bathroom was never really cold, just tepid. The restaurant "Saddles" was superb. We... More

After experiencing a not so good place that I checked out early, I booked this Gem. The staff and grounds are unreal cool. The gym (though small) had what you need for a short day. Pool was beautiful and I spent a ton of time on the grounds finishing up work. In the evening the walk to the Square and... More

We spent 3 nights in this great hotel. Great location, within easy walking distance from the centre of town where most things happen. Rooms are very big and comfortable. We ate at Saddles restaurant on the premises one of the nights and had a good meal. We never used the spa, but the pool area and gym are very nice.

What a great hotel in Sonoma. Walking distance from the square and all the restaurants, but far enough away that its quiet. Each "cabin" has ~4 units, but you never hear your neighbors and you feel isolated which is great. Perfect staging area for visiting Sonoma and Napa's wineries

I spent three nights in a great room at MacArthur Place. We had two queen beds, a fireplace and a kitchenette. It was perfect for two women traveling together. Lunch at Saddles the day we arrived was delicious and the complimentary wine and cheese everyday at 5 o'clock hit the spot. The wine hostess was so friendly and helpful about... More
