We stayed 5 nights on a trip for my sons wedding in Sonoma. The hotel is nice with clean, spacious rooms, wonderful grounds and close (not walking distance) to the main square. The breakfast included in the room price was good. If all you're looking for is a decent room at an above average price, this is a good hotel.... More

Dear EcoRick, Congratulations on your son's wedding and thank you so much for your nice comments about the rooms, grounds and breakfast at the hotel. We pride ourselves on giving outstanding service, so I'm very sorry we fell short during your visit. I wish we would have known in advance that you would have preferred a larger balcony for entertaining... More

We attended a wedding at the Ramekins, where we could have gotten a cute, clean modern room for $300/night. Instead, we opted to pay more for the MacArthur Place because we thought it would be nicer. Unfortunately, it wasn't! I expected more for a room that was $350+/night. The room was on the small side and the breakfast was continental.... More

Dear emileeetravels, Thank you for sharing your comments about your recent visit with us. I'm glad we were able to get you into your room early and do the one night stay for you so you could attend the wedding at Ramekins (we typically do have 2-night minimum on weekends). I'm sorry the room didn't meet your expectations. Our developer... More

My wife and I have been wanting to take a mini vacation for quite some time now. Picking MacArthur Place was one of the best decisions we've made. Both the hotel staff and rooms made you feel very comfortable and cozy. We also really enjoyed the wine happy hour, then taking a walk through the beautiful garden they have! We... More

Starting from the check in, to our room, to the pool, to happy hour, to breakfast I don't know how anyone could find fault with MP. We loved MP. The gardens were beautiful. The rooms were large, the bathrooms were modern and overall the room was very quiet. The turn down service with chocolates weas a nice touch. Breakfast in... More

In April we held a 2 day family wedding at MacArthur Place. It turned out to be the most beautiful weekend, even beyond our expectations. Working with Linda Clark and the entire staff at MacArthur Place was a dream. Everyone is knowledgeable about the property and beyond helpful. We reserved 10 rooms for an entire weekend for family members. Spa... More

This is a wonderful place to stay in Sonoma. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are clean and airy. It is nice that you can open the windows for fresh air. Continental breakfast (included) was nice. Fresh fruit, assortment of baked goods, hard boiled eggs, etc. In the evening they have wine, cheese and crackers. The staff was very helpful.... More

We spent my wife's 40th birthday weekend here, and cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience! The property is truly amazing, with everything you need right on site. Glorious rooms and one of the best restaurants in Sonoma right there. To cap it all off, the concierge, Nancy Boerum, planned a weekend of private wine tours, dinner reservations and... More
