MacArthur Place is totally charming, the rooms are elegant and well appointed, breakfast is delicious and generous and the staff is first class. The Spa is small but perfect and the shop is filled with curated goodies. I love this little gem

Right in the heart of Yountville, this hotel feels like you are away from everywhere. Individual large rooms with lots of amenities. Pool and hot tub are open 24 hours. Restaurants around the area are the best! Great breakfast too!

Thank you for the nice 5-Star review! One correction, however, we are right in the heart of Sonoma and not Yountville. Best, Bill Blum, General Manager More

The rooms are clean, large, and have a fireplace and jacuzzi tub which is great after a day of wine tasting at the local winery's. The staff was incredibly friendly and we even had a complimentary bottle of chilled champagne waiting for us in our room. When we went to check in, the font desk agent told us that we... More

We chose this place on the recommendation of friends and the lack of availability of cheaper alternatives. Although pricey, it is absolutely a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are spacious and spotless with everything in great shape. The included 'continental' breakfast was much much much more than a roll with coffee. The staff make a point of being pleasant... We stayed as a couple in mid-August 2015 to celebrate our anniversary and my wife's birthday. When we checked in we mentioned what we were there for and interested in seeing (restaurants, shopping, horseback riding). Bunky really went above and beyond. She helped us plan out our entire stay, made some great recommendations and all the necessary bookings. When we... More

The grounds are lovely. The staff is very friendly and helpful. the rooms are gorgeous at a good price. We walked to the square. The dinning credit was a nice plus. And of course there was plenty of wine!

We hosted the rehearsal dinner for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding at MacArthur Place, with cocktails in the Tack Room and dinner in the adjoining Rodeo Room. Linda Clark, the Catering Coordinator, could not have been more helpful. The venue was lovely, the food delicious, the staff helpful, and the set-up and coordination were so easy to work out. Many... Warmly welcomed and offered glasses of wine sent to our room, as we missed their wine tasting hour. Upgraded to a very comfortable and spacious room. Beds super comfy, bathroom large with lots of shower space. Grounds beautifully tended with apples growing on trees that have been structured like vines. Play chess with big outdoor set, swim in the nice... More

I spent 3 nights there on a bicycle trip through Sonoma. The location was wonderful, a short walk to the center of town, and yet quiet and extremely comfortable. The food was quite good. The pool inviting. I had a large room with many amenities, a large bathroom with a separate Loo, a small counter for food, a larger sitting... More

The property grounds and staff are amazing, just some highlights: -The gentleman who checked us in at night went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and offered to help us with bags multiple times. -The grounds look very nice and have many nice sculptures. Sometimes the sculptures are even functional (Chess garden). There were... More
