Stayed in the Pinot Noir suite and wish we could have stayed days longer. Lovely property makes you feel right at home. Will definitely go back. Went to Solvang outdoor theater and it was wonderful too. Ate at 466 and it was a great treat also.

I can think of no better way to visit Solvang than with an overnight stay at Meadowlark Inn. My 2 sisters and I celebrated a milestone birthday by visiting wineries in the Solvang area through a tour offered at Meadowlark Inn. After the tour, we stayed overnight in one of Meadowlark Inn's very spacious and well-equipped rooms. Meadowlark Inn and... More

This dog-friendly inn is just a five minute drive to town, but it's much more spacious and has a place for your dog to romp. There is a lovely garden and sitting area, where you can sit with your pet and enjoy a glass of wine from any of the many wonderful nearby wineries. The management helped by recommending several... The setting is like a painting by Monet. It is floral, surrounded by huge oaks and peaceful. Their online photos accurately depict the place inside and out. Staff is friendly & accommodating. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is light fare and not open until 8:30 during the week. Very relaxing place to stay!

Very friendly people. We stayed at Cabernet room which has a nice walled in yard with the exit to the back street where you can take nice walks. The jets in the hot tub are weak so don't expect to have a massage while you are in it. The grounds are very nice and if you have time in the... More

This was a wonderful quick getaway, where you actually felt like you got away! The Inns grounds were stunning, very well manicured rose gardens and walkways...large trees surround the property...just stunning. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Upon check in, we were walked to our room and shown all the features of the room. We stayed in the Cabernet.... More

I was looking forward to stay given the reviews but I found the noise from the nearby road to impact on the enjoyment of the rooms and the green space. There was other nearby noise in morning that might not recur on other days. Rooms were clean but essentially a cramped motel room with wood floors. Shutters don't keep out... More

We always appreciate helpful suggestions and take those to heart. I am very sorry that this guest did not enjoy their stay at our inn. We have several different types of rooms, and our standard rooms are small but comfortable, we have many larger rooms to choose from. We are located up from Mission Drive and many of our our... My wife and I spend a great two nights exploring Solvang and the Santa Barbara wine country. We were looking for something different, and she found the Meadowlark Inn. It is a little "unconventional" for a B&B. The property was built as a Motel in 1960. It has that vintage feel of an old Motel, but it has been completely... More

Have stayed here two times, with a third visit coming up. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The staff is very accommodating, pleasant and ready to help. They offer a nice self-serve breakfast with a variety of fruit, breads or muffins, a hot entree, and beverages.

The week before the 4th of July I realized my husband and I had all three days off together - an unusual occurrence - so I decided we needed to have a quick getaway but I thought everywhere would be booked or too expensive since it was so close to the 4th. I searched for available hotels not too far... More
