My husband and I stayed at the Petersen Village Inn for the annual Fess Parker Winery Wine Release Day and barbecue. While we did enjoy our stay at the Petersen, I much more enjoyed a stay at Hadsten House. Petersen Village Inn is charming in decor, but it is showing a lot of wear since our last visit several years... more

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room may have been dated, but was decorated in a decor that complimented the hotel and city. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, water pressure was better than most , AC & heat were in working order, and the iron even steamed! On the other hand, $200 seems a bit... more

My husband and I just took a quick weekend getaway to Solvang. We haven't been to Solvang in years and booked this inn after reading all the great reviews on Trip Advisor. We were very happy with the inn itself, (although it is eerily QUIET) and the location could not get any better. We purchased the dinner package and were... more

This was our first trip to Solvang. The weather cleared and we hit a spell of lovely days that fit between a week of wet and windy weather on both ends. We loved the decor of the hotel, service was impeccable. We booked the package for three nights, including breakfast for 3 mornings and dinner in their restaurant for 2... more

We stayed twice at The Petersen Inn and we liked it. Beautiful building and rooms as well. The breakfast (included) is excellent. Pastries are to die for... We booked the wine tasting package and didn't regret it. Dinner was included and every course was delicious. Okay, it wasn't a cheap trip as we like but still worth it. more

The Hotel's Cafe Provence is fabulous and our 3 course dinners were included with our stay! The staff was extremely nice and accommodating and although the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the decor could use updating. Overall we had a fantastic experience at the Petersen Inn. We'll be back! more

I have stayed at the Petersen Inn many, many, many times over the years and I always love coming back to visit. The beds are always comfortable and the linens are always clean. This is one of my favorite hotels, especially during Christmas. I love the decorations. I always ask for a room facing the courtyard as they are very... more

We came to Solvang for the first time, and we really loved the town. Staying at the Petersen was the icing on the cake for our trip. When we checked in, the front desk staff and the bellman were very nice and helpful. Our room was roomy and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It was worth staying at... more

The Petersen Village Inn is fantastic! My good friend and I booked king rooms there for the weekend of the anniversary of Edie Sedgwick's death (November 16, 1971). Ms. Sedgwick is buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Ballard, only six minutes from Solvang, so if you were a fan of the 1960s, Andy Warhol, or just want to visit... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Peterson Inn in Solvang in March 2008 for a weekend getaway. I chose the Peterson Inn after reading several postiive reviews on tripadvisor and by recommendation of the AAA Southern California guidebook. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Peterson: the accomodations and extras were excellent. We stayed in a standard queen... more
