Got the mini suite --- at $129 a value . Comfy bed . The Breakfast was Folgers and pastries, but a good breakfast cafe adjacent. . Pool was closed . What else ? Place was clean , the wi-Fi was down but we had MiFi so not a problem . Pinnacles is not to be missed !

Got the mini suite. Meh. Clean, but old school. Used to be a smoking room, so it was still stinky. Pool closed by health dept. Breakfast was packaged pastries and bad coffee. And not much of it. Not horrible, but not coming back again if we can help it.

New to the area I stayed at the valley Harvest Inn located in Soledad for almost 3 months waiting for my family to arrive, and our new house to be ready. This says a lot about a hotel when service, and quality are so good you can stay at one location with out one bad incident. All the staff and... More

The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff were great. The hot tub was wonderful at the end of the day. The fitness room lacked a television and the breakfast was terrible. The GM told me they are working on the breakfast. She was terrific and I think the breakfast will be improved. I would give them another chance.

Our family made our first visit to America's newest national park and the closest town near the Western entrance to the park is Soledad, CA. The Valley Harvest Inn is located near the freeway and also near a newer shopping center with restaurants and a CVS and market to stock up on supplies for Pinnacles. The motel is very basic,... I have zoomed past Soledad a gazillion times with never a thought of staying there. I have also promised myself to visit Pinnacles National Park a gazillion times. At last, I squeezed a weekend visit to the park, and booked a pet friendly room at Soledad's Valley Harvest Inn. Kudos to a friendly motel staff. The room was clean, but... More

I've stayed here three years in a row, for 1-2 nights, for a school event in a nearby city. I'm only in the room for about 6-7 hours and just need a place to shower and get a few hours of sleep. This place is fine for that. It's decently clean, showers are good and hot, room is quiet and... More

This motel is nothing special but convenient for visiting Pinnacles. the bed was quite uncomfortable and the bed head jutted out making it uncomfortable to sit to watch t.v. the hot tub was good although it isn't switched on until 2.30 so no use if you want to use it earlier or in the morning. The breakfast room is an... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2014

Soledad is the closest city to Pinnacles National Park, and the Valley Harvest Inn is one of two places to stay in Soledad. It also is more expensive than its Motel 8 competitor, but still a relatively inexpensive property. We had a rather small room with one queen size bed. Though the decor was a bit dated, it was well... More

I must say first and foremost that the staff was nice - but I still had a terrible problem with being billed for a room three times. I arrived at the hotel and they said I had already checked in. After convincing the clerk that this was not possible, she gave me another room. But upon entering my room, i... More
