We recently stayed 2 nights at The Inn at the Pinnacles. It is absolutely wonderful! The location is perfect for exploring The Pinnacles, and not too far away from Monterey for a shopping or sightseeing expedition, either. We were with a group of rock climbers from various areas in California, came after work on Friday, and spent Friday and Satuday... More

I took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. Owners Jan and Jon are welcoming, warm hosts. The inn is a modern Spanish-style home with guest rooms on the side. The property is surrounded by rolling vineyards on all sides and extremely close to Pinnacles National Monument. We plan on returning. More

When we visit Pinnacles we usually stay in King City. However this time we looked on Tripadvisor and found this b and b. It is only a couple of miles from Pinnacles and has lovely views. It is also in the middle of a vineyard and was so peaceful. We loved hearing the coyotes at night and seeing Pinnacles early... More

I took my husband here for a birthday hiking trip and we had a wonderful time! This B&B is just a couple minutes from the west entrance of Pinnacles. It is on a vineyard with a lot of land, so it really feels as though you have gotten away from everything. When you arrive, the owners Jan and Jon have... More

Full disclosure, I worked at Chalone back in the late 1990's, and had dinner once with Jan, Jon and their kids back when they lived in a solar and generator powered hippy shack on what was then their simple, weekend ranch for their family. A few years later, I saw them a second time right when they were cutting the... More

I just wanted to add a quick review of our recent stay at the Inn at the Pinnacles (http://www.innatthepinnacles.com/index.php). My wife booked us one night at the Inn and I wish it had been 7! This is a hidden gem and I can honestly recommend it to any couple that wishes to have a quiet, comfortable break away from their... More

We just spent one night at the Inn at the Pinnacles a few weeks ago and wished we'd been able to stay for 2. It's a really lovely place, set up in the hills above Soledad and the Salinas Valley. Very peaceful-I couldn't see any other homes or buildings from our patio, just the Pinnacles, vineyards and low mountains. The... More

We weren't sure what to expect when we set out on our journey to the Inn at the Pinnacles but were extremely pleasantly surprised. It is a little hard to get to but more than worth the trip. The Bed and Breakfast was really lovely and well-maintained. Each room is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge, and BBQ and also... More

We came to hike and bird in the Pinnacles Natl. Monument. We were going to stay in a cheap hotel in Soledad, but decided to splurge and stay here. It was so worth the extra bucks! Here we could hear birds and the occasional coyote. In Soledad we would have heard truck traffic. Besides hummingbirds and finches all over this... More

We just got back from a 2 night stay at this wonderful place. Jan and Jon were the most wonderful hosts!! Wine and cheese are served each evening which allowed us to try some of the local wine. We tend not to like B&B's as sometimes the owners and other guests can be a bit intrusive. Not here-the conversations were... More
