We were here in early October & were the only guests. Our intention was to visit Lassen Park - unfortunately unrealised as the US budgetary disagreement meant that all national parks were closed - a sad indictment on American politics which must badly affect tourism. Anyway the cabin itself was clean & comfortable - we particularly liked the bed/bedding. The... More

We realize you traveled a great distance to visit Mt. Lassen National Park and we do understand your frustration, it is unfortunate our political leaders couldn't compromise and chose to close the federal goverment including all National Parks. As a result we had alot of guest reschedule or cancel their vacations, this had a significant impact on all of us... More

We stayed at Grace Lake Resort last weekend with a group of 4 families and had an amazing experience. The cabins far exceeded our expectations in comfort and amenities. The cabin was clean, totally refurbished inside, and had everything a family needs when away from home (mini fridge, microwave, dishes, etc). We stayed in the Paris theme cabin and the... More

Stayed two nights here in cabin 6 to visit Lassen. We really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, no tv nor radio just us and nature. We could hear the animals in the morning waking up and scent the smell of trees. Nice littel cabin recently refurbished with two beds, kitchen, bathroom, everything you need and a big lawn around... Lassen Volcanic National Park does not have many visitor facilities other than campgrounds and a few minimalist cabins adjacent to the campgrounds, so we stayed at Grace Lake Resort. The resort is a small complex consisting of a house and about six small cabins. We stayed in a cabin. The cabins are quite old but they have been nicely fixed... More

We were referred to Grace Lake by some friends who had recently returned from a hiking trip to Mt. Lassen, and were so glad we chose this little spot! The grounds are very well maintained and look as natural as we would expect to find off the beaten path. We had the opportunity to view a few of the cabins,... More

Small group of cabins, not on Grace Lake near Shingletown and Lassen Park. We stayed in the cabin near the road and were not bothered by the traffic noise, even with the windows wide open. No air conditioning. Cabins were clean and the bed was comfortable. They have been redone. Ours had a king bed, dresser, little kitchen table and... More

We were on a family trip for fishing in the area. We stayed in the 3 bedroom house. We shopped in town and cooked our own meals. The owners were friendly, helpful and added to the overall enjoyment of the well landscaped yard. We loved the chickens. We are happy to recommend this gem to anyone. Each of the cottages... More

These cabins are only a 20 minute drive from the North entrance to Lassen - Manzanita Lake. There are about 6 cabins and a house and they are set amongst pine trees. There is a small pool. We didn't try it as it looked a little cloudy. We had a queen cabin. It has a decent bed, table and chairs... More

This is a very convenient place to stay if you are visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park and the vicinity. We stayed in a one bedroom, one bath cabin. However, with my two daughters, there were four of us. The manager of the cabins was very accommodating and provided two fold out mats. We brought two sleeping beds and my daughters... More
