If you are looking for a cheap place to sleep, the Ocean View Motel will meet your needs. If you require an ocean view, amenities, a TV remote control, look elsewhere. Think Motel 6, but I would rate a Motel 6 higher. Ocean View Motel is clean, beds were comfortable and room had a small microwave and mini fridge. No shampoo, hairdryer or wash cloths. Our friends did have a TV remote in their room, but their room had a view of the trash dumpster. No screens on the windows (not a problem unless you are worried about someone climbing through your window) and door locks were rudamentary 1950's door knob type lock. No deadbolds. Located right next to noisy U.S. 101. No pool but the owner might turn on the lawn sprinkler for you. Bottom line: Clean and relatively cheap, but you won't want to hang out there during the day.
