Got a deal on Hotwire to stay here. Nice hotel. Note it is not in Monterey but just outside in Seaside. There was some noise when we arrived due to construction but by the time we returned from dinner it was quiet. Nice pond outside with ducks and geese. “Motel style, older Holiday Inn Express”

Pluses: Convenient location. Clean room and bathroom. The pool and spa were well kept and appealing. Minuses: older building with exterior, motel-style access. Small rooms that could do with renovation. We felt cooped up in the room by the fourth day and were happy to leave. Would not stay there again the next time we visit.

“Excellent hotel and good price!”

Stayed one night at this hotel in my trip across the California coast (Big Sur - SR1). I totally recommend this hotel. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Free parking lot and an excellent continental breakfast. The hotel staff is friendly and can help you whatever you need.
