The family was not pleased this room. We were road tripping in California; four nights, four rooms. There was a heavy antiseptic smell, carpet had a few sticky spots, the mirror was not straight, and the microwave was precariously sitting atop the refrigerator. I would not recommend this motel.

Moderately comfortable bed, clean rooms and property, nice staff. I wouldn't want to stay for multiple nights, but as a cheap place to stay it was a good choice. If I was going again I'd ask to reserve a ground floor, there are no elevators and I had a heavy bag.

Location between two streets, fairly noisy room. Room was clean and offers all you need. No inroom safe. Breakfast very good and a wide choice for such a hotel. We recommend this hotel only for stop-overs as there is nothing to do in the vicinity and no restaurants around.

I stayed at this motel on Memorial Day Weekend in 2014. The room we had on the 2nd floor had a nice view of the Seaside/Sand City area, and it was clean. It was kind of creepy though because there was a huge pile of mattresses by the dumpster...not a good omen when you first check into a place. There... More

Having stayed at this motel before, and having had great experiences, I was taken aback by the steep increase in the price. Counter staff is pleasant and receptive to requests for assistance. The continental breakfast in the lobby is all right, but adequate space to enjoy it is not provided; take the food back to the room. No problems with... More

We needed a cheap place to crash overnight before exploring Monterey. This place does that, and no more. Got this for $64 including tax from Hotwire secret hotel deal. The description said it included free parking, free wifi and free breakfast, which seemed attractive for the price (and pretty common for similar chains, as we found out). It's not that... More

We got this hotel through Hotwire.com which is sometimes good, sometimes not so good, but this was what I expected for an economy hotel. It was clean and quiet. If your suite at Pebble Beach was double booked and they stuck you here at the same price, yes I would be really upset, but for what it claims to be,... More

We stayed for 1 night at this motel and would not go back there again. To start off, the front desk service was very bad. The receptionist was not friendly, not courteous, and didn't smile at all. The room was old and dingy. The breakfast was okay but there was no room to sit and eat...so we had to carry... More

This was a nice hotel. We stayed here for a week for the Monterey Car Week. It is run down on the outside but the rooms themselves are nice and clean. It was quiet too. It is convenient to alot of the attractions. The staff was nice. There are a few parking spaces that are covered. I would stay here... More

My husband and I stayed for one night in July using Seaside as a cheaper stop over near to Monterey on our way down the PCH. Like other reviewers have mentioned, this is an economy motel which is a bit worn and run down, but not as bad as we feared after reading some of the reviews! Check in was... More
