We needed a cheap place to crash overnight before exploring Monterey. This place does that, and no more. Got this for $64 including tax from Hotwire secret hotel deal. The description said it included free parking, free wifi and free breakfast, which seemed attractive for the price (and pretty common for similar chains, as we found out). It's not that... More

We got this hotel through Hotwire.com which is sometimes good, sometimes not so good, but this was what I expected for an economy hotel. It was clean and quiet. If your suite at Pebble Beach was double booked and they stuck you here at the same price, yes I would be really upset, but for what it claims to be,... More

We stayed for 1 night at this motel and would not go back there again. To start off, the front desk service was very bad. The receptionist was not friendly, not courteous, and didn't smile at all. The room was old and dingy. The breakfast was okay but there was no room to sit and eat...so we had to carry... More

This was a nice hotel. We stayed here for a week for the Monterey Car Week. It is run down on the outside but the rooms themselves are nice and clean. It was quiet too. It is convenient to alot of the attractions. The staff was nice. There are a few parking spaces that are covered. I would stay here... More

My husband and I stayed for one night in July using Seaside as a cheaper stop over near to Monterey on our way down the PCH. Like other reviewers have mentioned, this is an economy motel which is a bit worn and run down, but not as bad as we feared after reading some of the reviews! Check in was... More

For a holiday weekend, we were surprised when we pulled up on day 2 of a 3 day weekend and found 3 other cars in the whole parking lot. By nightfall more cars showed but it became clear that our Hotwire/Expedia booking was not a good one. The place is ok for a cheap alternative but for $72 it is... More

My wife and me were doing LA to SF via PCH and we found this hotel to be a perfect stop in our road trip. This is a motel and econo lodge. So don't pay too much and don't expect a five star. The room was ok with a fridge and a microwave. A nice surprise was the bathroom that... More

Reading the other reviews about this motel, I find hard to believe that I stayed in the same place as the other persons making comments. The prices were the best I have ever found in the area. The room was clean, comfortable, and had amenities that I no longer find at motels charging much more. I look for value and... More

We booked this place at the last minute through Hotwire ! For 200$/ night, this place is a joke ! Old building, stained wall, dirty floor. Rooms/ restrooms were not cleaned properly. The only good thing was the decent breakfast. If you are paying more than 50$/ night for this place, better find rooms someplace else and save yourself !

Very old hotel. Thankfully we only had to stay one night. The bed sheets had stains all over them. The bathroom had hair on the floor and on the towels. We had a long morning and wanted to rest for the afternoon but the room was so hot! There is no AC in the hotel. Front desk said it will... More
