I work in Seaside/Monterey area often. I've been to a lot of the other hotels around here over the past year. I like the man at the front desk. He has a good attitude and is always eager help me out. Now I stay here, over any other place because of the good price and environment.

As one of the cheapest options in the Carmel/Monterey area, this is definitely a bare minimum motel. Upon walking into the lobby, a strong scent of Indian curry wafts into your nostrils before an Indian gentleman magically appears to check you in. My fiance and I happen to enjoy Indian food but others may find this a deterrent. The rooms... More

My mother and I spent a few nights at this place in August 2014. It was the least expensive place that we could find in the Monterey area. I had stayed at the Americas Best Value Inn in Monterey on Munras in July 2014 and it was not too bad, so I assumed the one in Seaside would be about... More

What you get here is less than the bare minimum and for what they charge it should be better run, more welcoming and have much better amenities. The beds are old and broken down, you're lucky to get one towel per person (and you might have to ask for that if they do your room and forget to replace them),... More

You could not pay me to stay at this hotel. No Toilet Paper, Gum On the Wall, Had not been Cleared in a Month, Key Works 1 out of 10. The Mattress had Springs Popping out of it, had to take 4 Advil to remove the back pain cased by the mattress, picked up on a corner 10 years ago.... More

My husband and I stayed there during the a Races out at Laguna Seca. The continental Breakfast was a Danish from Costo and sunny a delight. There were a lot of in and outs two doors down from our. My husband politely walked over to ask three gentleman if they might turn down their car stereos. That's when a young... More

we stayed here for 1 night for the California roots festival. because of the festival I guess they are allowed to overprice their rooms, for $300 a night for 2 queen beds I thought it was too much for this motel. It was nice and clean with a small flat screen, the bathroom was a tight squeeze but very plain... More

This place is a very affordable place to stay. It is right off of the highway, which is really nice! It is an older place and our room looked out upon some sort of tow yard. It has wifi which is great and the staff was nice. It was pretty noisy throughout the night from the neighboring room, but that... More

Relatively clean rooms. Firm bordering on hard bed. Building construction on the cheap side with loose bathroom fixtures. Noise from people walking on wooden stairway and second floor balcony to rooms. Location in relatively safe low income but not very attractive part of town. WiFi not able to connect for streaming movies most of the time. Breakfast only sugary pastry... More

This is an okay place if you're staying a short time. But there are cheaper hotels in the area and the service is better. The good: air conditioning/heat worked, spacious rooms with a microwave and mini-fridge. Lots of restaurants nearby and a 24-hour drugstore and supermarket within walking distance. The bad: cleanliness. There were toenail clippings all over the bathroom... More
