We stayed one night after driving up the Big Slur from Morro Bay. We drove to San Francisco the next day, which is about 3 hours away. The room was large, and appeared clean. The bathroom was not so good, it was the only place we stayed in that did not have a plug for the bath. This annoyed by... More

I have three basic rules for a hotel: clean, safe, value. This hotel meets all the requirements. It isn't located in the tourist area but it is very convenient and easy to find. Our bed was quite comfortable and in fact the pillows were the best we had on our trip. This is an old hotel and there still is... More

Clean room with fine beds/pillows. Shower temperature was hard to regulate. Thin walls but with quiet neighbors it's a fine place to sleep. Landlord was not rude - but I didn't feel welcomed. Okay coffee at 'breakfast' Yeah - Value for money.

Don't really understand the negative reviews for this motel. It is in an excellent location on one of the main roads in Seaside, about a mile or so from the Monterey State beach which is wild and enormous. The negative comments seem to be about the grumpy Indian managers. My group was treated courteously by the receptionist and manager after... More

Simple, clean and large rooms. Breakfast is very limited: cereal, milk, served in the reception. Parking available. There are some fast food near to. Not so close from Monterey downtown, but for the price it is worth.

Average at best. Very strange and cold check-in from the Indian owner. Rooms are clean but have very outdated furniture. Breakfast is a joke and should not be called breakfast. This is an OK place to stay just for one night as a resting point. I would not stay here for a longer period. There are some restaurants and a... More

Myself and my girlfriend found this motel very pleasant. We originally had one night booked but actually went to the desk the next day to book a second night which was absolutely fine with the man at the desk (did it at the same price as we paid online). The room itself was clean and comfortable. The wifi did occasionally... More

$ 279 + tax for this dump? Well, turns out it was "Monterey car week", or something like that. A week later the rooms were around $ 70 Rude person at check in (no lobby, just a closet size room) Small room, low ceilings, crowded with furniture (a small table and a desk, which obviously they didn't know what to... This is a simple, comfortable motel just right for a low cost overnight stay. The "No Vacancies" sign was on when we arrived early evening and check-in was efficient and to the point. The room was very standard and breakfast had to be collected from reception and taken to the room which was a first for us. It was basic... More
