At check-in was told there was construction that would end at 5 pm. We were not told it would be constant from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm the entire three days we were there. I could have handled the hammering and even a little sawing, but a jack hammer right outside the window, the entire time? It not only shook... More

I recently stayed in Monterey/Seaside area 3 nights. I chose 3 different hotels all in the same price range every night and this one was by far the most comfortable. Quiet and well furnished. Nice hotel for the money for sure!

Comfortable, clean, free wifi, parking, convenient location, friendly staff. It's very basic and no frills but good value for the money. The continental breakfast was not really edible (it's like the worst kind of prepackaged junk--like those croissants that never expire and taste like chemicals) and they didn't even have real milk/cream for the coffee (just that gross powdered stuff)... We had a queen ,non smoking room overlooking the street and backing onto Panda Express ...and it was a great overnight stay.On arrival we were a little put off by the commercial location but we had pre paid though priceline. However the outside is well cared for, nicely painted with neat gardens and flowers. The room was very spacious, with a lovely new... More

I selected Seaside Inn because of the great reviews on TA but now I’m wondering if the ownership has changed. The room was a great price but the late afternoon staff was not very welcoming. Apparently the guy lives on-sight and twice during the straight forward check-in, a relative opened the door to the residence to hand his the residential... More

Very clean room that has been recently upgraded. Nothing fancy, but an excellent motel for the money. Stayed in a 2 room suite with queen beds that would be perfect for a family with kids. Close enough to Carmel and Monterey to enjoy the sites there without the pricey places there. Very happy to recommend this place.

We just returned from staying at the Seaside Inn. We have been there numerous times. We live in the central valley of California and go to Seaside often to visit our son. We appreciate the attentive manager on site. We also appreciate the new mattresses and clean rooms at a budget price. D and V from Farmersville

Its like a hidden little gem. For just $50-60/night, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was clean, well maintained, comfortable and overall exceeded my expectation. There was a mini fridge, microwave, free parking and free Internet wifi which works well. It was a family run inn and the elderly lady running it was very warm and friendly giving... More

The staff was very helpful. The room was smaller but very clean. I had one of the best nights sleep of our whole trip. The outside was quaint and immaculate. This was a great place to stay for our short visit to Monterey, affordable and delightful. We would definitely stay her again.

This is an excellent motel for the price. super cheap, clean and minutes from everything. Staff was very polite even when we got there at midnight looking for a place to stay.......We got a room at last minute when we stopped in Monterey on our honey moon. Was very happy here!
