I stayed again at the Ayres Hotel in Seal Beach. This is an update to my report from 3/08. Since I was visiting someone at nearby Leisure World, the cost was $112/night on weekends & $124 during the week – No increase from last year. I had previously negotiated a rate of $128 for government employees. Rooms are nice. Refrigerator... more

Very clean, big room with microwave and mini bar. Serve yourself breakfast was free, buffet style. We booked this hotel because it was the nearest to relatives we were visiting in the area. It was comfortable, but I wish I'd taken more notice of the style before booking. If you like modern hotels-light bright and airy, then this hotel is... more

The physical property itself is excellent and the hotel is located directly off a main freeway in Southern California, making it easily accessible to many local attractions. It appeared to be a fairly new property with a small but nice pool area, complimentary breakfast served off the lobby, and well-appointed rooms although certainly not the "suite" type they advertise. The... more

Stayed at the Ayres Hotel Seal Beach this past week for a nearby conference. Had read the reviews on TripAdvisor and took an informed gamble. Large rooms with marvelously comfortable beds, "euro-style" furniture, microwave and refrigerator in room. The decorating not to my personal taste (gold flocked wall paper) but staying not living there. The best breakfast ever!! Eggs, pancakes,... more

We loved this hotel. Wish they were all over the US. Great "free" breakfast. Easy access to/from highway. No noise from roads. Clean. Pretty. Only draw back was how for it was from Hollywood/Beverly Hills area. About 45 minutes one way . The hotel in itself was GREAT. Would stay again!!!!!! more

We stayed at this hotel for five days. I requested a quiet top(third) floor room when making the online reservation and that's what they gave me. Some rooms face the freeway and/or road. Others, the quieter ones, face the courtyard, pool and parking lot. The room was in good shape and clean. The decor was as shown on their website.... more

The Ayres Hotel in at 12850 Seal Beach Blvd in Seal Beach, California is a great boutique hotel located right at the 405 and Seal Beach Blvd. Everything about this hotel is excellent from the rooms, to the service, to the location. I have stayed at this hotel probably a dozen times over the past 4 years, always for business... more

Wow, this place was amazing. The rates are surprisingly affordable. The rooms are very, very clean and classy. The breakfast was decent--a nice warm meal with good ham and fresh fruit. Again it was the room that really impressed me..high ceiling, spacious, comfy bed, stylish European style decor. Remember that you've to put in the card to activate the electricity.... more

I am used to staying at the Ayres in Laguna Woods, so I was not disappointed with this location in Seal Beach. It is a great hotel for the business traveler and vacationer alike. The rooms come with a small fridge and microwave. There is a breakfast buffet with tons of hot and cold offerings and they will make egg... more

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Ayers. At check-in the clerk remembered that I had asked for a quiet room away from the elevators. The room was very nice, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. On the weekends you can even get an omelet of your choice. They have a managers reception during... more
