When we first arrived we were thoroughly impressed with the nice view and scenery all around. Our room was on the 4th floor and we had a good view of the adjacent parking lot from our balcony. The first impression of the room was okay. The furniture and inventory were state of the art with a decent TV, tiny fridge... More

What a nice hotel! After staying at six different hotels this summer, all Hilton brand, this was my favorite. The location is nice. About a five to ten minute drive to shopping plazas, close to Felton, near Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, and even not too far away from Big Basin Redwoods State Park. We were able to get to... There is so much lacking at this hotel in comparison to what you would normally find at a Hilton Property, I am actually taken aback. First, this is my second stay. Housekeeping on both occassions threw away baggies that I use for both my jewelery and toilet articles for packing. I'm a business traveler and this has only happened in... More

For all the hype about this place, our two day visit turned out to be a let down. The exterior is great, looks like a castle. But that hides a run-of-the-mill hotel. There is absolutely nothing special or extraordinary about this place. The rooms are pedestrian, bland, and give no sense of luxury. The restaurant has a minimalist menu with... More

Upon our arrival, the staff (Joe) was very nice and checked us in a little early. The room itself was a different story. When we entered the bathroom, we noticed that the maids had left the soap in the shower, covered with hair, from the previous guests. We called the front desk, and they immediately sent someone up to clean... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the hilton in July during our travel down from San Fransisco.. We hadn't booked and just popped in as booking.com had said there was availability at a good price.. When we arrived at reception we were told there was availability but at double the price!! So we went outside and booked via our phone... More

Excellent place to stay - would recommend highly. Great staff, clean, great amenities, great location, overall a great place to stay. Lots of options on room types and very well appointed. Food was excellent, and food service prompt and courteous. Best option for the area and outclassed other options from what I saw.

On the website it's described as about 4 miles from Santa Cruz but that must be to the city limit - it's 25 mins in traffic to the boardwalk. It's a good hotel in peaceful surroundings. The room was good and breakfast plentiful with a buffet and al a carte menu to choose from. The rates are not the cheapest... More

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Conveniently located to Santa Cruz. Only problem was the temperature in the room. Anytime we turned the thermostat on heat or air conditioning, the room temp would end up at 62 degrees. Almost froze a couple of nights and we came to the room after a long day and it felt like an ice... More

We did not get to check in on time and all they would do is offer us free drinks while we waited. Since I do not drink I got free soda, wow. The rooms need a bit of maintenance to be what one would expect from a Hilton. It was clean and comfortable but rust on bathroom fittings and cracked... More
