The room was lovely and bright and airy and good value although a little small if you have a lot of luggage (suitcase and a holdall). A small fridge for your own milk etc would have been appreciated. The breakfast is pointless it's just sugary pastries. The location is perfect and why I would stay there again despite the downsides.

We stayed here in a room facing Tiburon and had a fabulous stay. The room was small but very nice with a really comfy bed. Rooms on the other side of the hotel facing the city unfortunately have a building for a view so ask for a room facing Tiburon. Sausalito really clears out around 6 pm when everyone who... More

Lovely small, boutique hotel in the beautiful town of Sausalito. In a good location but you need to book a sea view room. Great complimentary breakfast which was a nice touch. Beds were extremely comfortable and the showers were big. Very clean. We booked room 205 with a sea view room and would definitely book again. Only downside that stopped... More

Smallest room on or trip through western USA - suitcases had to be on floor and only left free room between the beds, one chair (but not table - only a small night table) in front of cupboard where there was the TV, a few low hanging coat hangers and some plastic boxes as drawers. Mini TV as small as... More

We loved this beautifully appointed historical hotel. It's in the heart of downtown close to shops, excellent restaurants & the ferry to San Francisco. The staff was amazing, willing to help at all hours. The bed was great. There was always fresh fruit, hot water & coffee available & amazing pastries in the morning. There is a lovely patio on... I've stayed here many times over a number of years for business trips, and found it to be superbly quiet, accessible, homey, and enjoyable. The owner makes it a point to make sure you enjoy your stay and makes every effort to address any outstanding need you may have, including taxi service to SFO at zero-dark-thirty in the morning. Highly... More

After spending 3 nights in San Francisco we decided to spend one night in Sausalito before heading north. We came away grateful it was only one night. We stayed in room 209; it was clean and presented well. The bed had no cross support and sagged in the center. The street noise (including trash removal trucks, seagulls, and people talking)... A charming space, with the feel of an old hotel, but renovated to only look like an old hotel. Quaint, charming, and tasteful. Did I mention charming? The hotel is located in the center of everything, with the dock out the front door and a number of shopping and dining opportunities a short walk away. The front desk staff is... More

Beautiful hotel and town! We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary and my birthday here! Shops and restaurants are neat and everything is within walking distance. Staff was wonderful and we loved the breakfast and coffee/tea service!!

Hotel Sausalito is perfect. Very sweet, quaint and fantastic customer service. Ask anyone at the desk and great information given. We toured throughout San Francisco and came back nightly to stay in the quiet, peaceful area of Sausalito.
