Had a balcony view room in the new building. Very "cozy" room. Beware the water is not very hot. Not hot enough for a soak in the tub. Also ran out of warm water in the shower one morning. The bed, however, was wonderful! Weather was nice, great location. Poggio had great food. Spa was wonderful! more

When I read the reviews on Tripadvisor.com, the reviews were very mixed I thought. I also had mixed feelings about whether I wanted a room on the older side (I thought perhaps it would be more country, more antique-y) or the newer side. So sad. It seems the staff does not care (with the exception of the valet crew, they are great). Cold water, noisy party in next room, inability to explain charges to card, confused and lost...clueless really. That is the only way to explain the staff at the hotel.
