The Hillside Inn is by far the BEST VALUE in the state. Where else can you find a 1bd. with a kitchen for around a hundred dollars. It is immaculate, the Owner Bob and his son Bob, Jr. take such pride of ownership and are very service oriented. The rooms are extremely comfortable and there's a pool. They run a... More

Just returned from a three night stay at the Hillside Inn with my sister-in-law. The property was recommended to us by family in Santa Rosa. We were both pleased with our stay and had no issues with either the motel or the staff. Yes, we did meet Bob. I expected a reservation in my name, but was informed by Bob... More

We stayed at the Hillside Inn for two nights while in town for a funeral. A family member booked us a "suite" with a king bed in one room and 2 fulls in the other on the second floor. There was no living area to speak of, but the king room was separated from the 2 bedded room and bathroom... More

This hotel has clearly seen a fair few number of guests pass through over the years but what the heck the price per night was clearly good value for a clean hotel with good comfortable beds, nice pool area and plenty of parking in what appeared to us to be a safe area. We do like modern, we love posh... More

Everything that everyone else has written covers it. The place is clean but REALLY dated. It needs an overhaul. After awhile, no matter how many times you clean something it starts to look sad. Speaking of sad, the owner is a grump. No matter how pleasant you are or how much you smile. I get the feeling he's tired of... More

I spent two nights at the Hillside Inn while attending a workshop. I found the room to be very spacious with lots of closet space and counter space. It also had a good shower. But most importantly, it was very clean. I did not get a room with a kitchenette, as I didn't need one. I am a female and... More

It's a curious place: circa 1970-something decor, but very clean and well maintained property. Rooms have a tiny kitchen with stove and refrig, but no pots/pans or utensils. Having a refrig is very convenient though. It's right on Hwy 12 so it's very loud, but the traffic subsides around midnight. Some of the second floor rooms have a little balcony... More

My husband and I stopped here without a reservation. I have no complaints about the front desk. I felt the room was not clean and had a smell to it. The bed was not good. Coffee cups were dirty. The room just felt dirty to me. I would not stay here again.

The only hotel I stay at, while in Santa Rosa. Great service, even better rates and very good service. Rooms are fine. Place is safe & secure. Maids are great and they have a big clean pool. The restaurant on-site serves the best breakfast & lunch in Santa Rosa. I just LOVE this place. My home away from home. Mexican... More

Has heated pool, big rooms, full kitchen options. Covered parking. Awesome place and well maintained. The design is older, but that makes the whole place nostalgic. Shady trees by the pool, there is a breakfast resturant attached for breakfast and lunch. Safeway supermarket and cvs in walking distance!! Has two policies that people may not like. You must call in... More
