I was very disappointed in the Flamingo. My husband remembered it as a landmark in Sonoma County, BUT... there was major partying going on and as a result there was no parking. I am not as sensitive to noise as my husband so I didn't mind the party noises all night. But the final straw was the broken television, which... More

Stayed at this hotel while attending a conference at another area hotel that had MUCH higher-priced rooms. For the amount I paid through Hotwire, this was a good deal. However, if I hadn't gotten a "deal" I would have been sorely disappointed. This isn't a "resort/spa" hotel. It's what would amount to a 2 to 2.5 star hotel with an... More

The hotel was nice, but I reserved a room for one night and they billed me for two nights. Apparently the check in document I signed said it was a two night reservation, but this was an error made by their staff that I did not catch. I am still trying to get a refund for the second night I... More

The Flamingo Resort was a landmark in Santa Rosa while I was growing up there. We now live in Nevada and it's no longer comfortable for our expanded family to stay with Dad so we decided to try the Flamingo which is only a few minutes drive from Dad's house. What a wonderful surprise. Our room, a suite, looked out... More

We brought our mid sized Sales Team (19 folks) here for one very warm night in May....after being in vineyards (we're in the industry) in record heat all day we gathered around the large and lovely pool in the evening until nearly midnight. Although the exterior of the property has all the appeal of a bowling alley the grounds and... More

stayed here on a business trip, my room was a decent size with modern bed linens. easy parking, easy check-in ... good cooked breakfast, although the "continental" breakfast looked very basic, somthing like you'd see at a motel when they offer a free breakfast which consists of Cornflakes, Cheerios nasty pastries etc..... Bathroom was very small and not cleaned properly.... More

The room was dated and smallish, and even though "remodeled/updated" it still had a 50s/60s feel - with original tile and tub, a little musty, so-so bath products, and very small bathroom. The grounds are nice; the rooms need help. AND BEWARE: We asked for an early morning wakeup call to catch a plane at SFO. They didn't call! Lucky... More

The Flamingo is very conveniently located, close to upscale shopping, a supermarket, some good restaurants and very near the major Sonoma County highways. Every room is non-smoking, a definite plus. But beyond the rotating pink flamingo and a very nice pool area, the property is without distinction. Bathroom amenities are lacking. The walls are thin. The rooms reek of "hotel... More

As soon as we pulled up to the hotel, we fell in love with the massive pink neon sign. Our room was comfy and the staff were friendly. The pool and patio were great! It looked like the kind of place that film execs would have hung out at in the 60s, and it turns out that was part of... More

Quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. The walls are made of paper, you can hear even the slightest sound while you're attempting to sleep, the entire hotel reeks of chlorine, it has the tackiest decor I've seen in my entire life, and the hotel staff is completely unprofessional. The bathroom was dirty,... More
