My wife and I had about 4 days to spend in the wine country prior to a family reunion and decided on the Flamingo in Santa Rosa. Our check-in and check-outs were fast and friendly, our room was clean and nicely updated, and the grounds/pool and hot tub were really nice. The Flamingo was also a good value - we... More

This was our first stay at the Flamingo and we overall we were impressed. They had a "Fair Special" for $109 that included 2 tickets to the fair. A very good deal! The property is very large and well located right in town. There is no sign of any kind for the office, so after wandering around, we finally decided... More

This hotel looks like it forgot to remodel but after staying there, it adds to its charm. It reminds me of a very upscale hotel of the sixties. It could have very well been built in the Hawaiian islands when tourism was raging. But it's service, cleanliness and fantastic restaurant pleased me. It was a unique experience and I'm interested... Spent three nights at the Flamingo. It's a two-story motel that's been given a superficial makeover to mask its true nature. Please don't be mislead by the word "resort" in this facility's title. The lobby, the restaurant, the rooms, the drive-up nature of the layout all scream 1960's era road trip in the station wagon with your family. There was... More

Bid on priceline for a hotel in this area and received this hotel. Went to their site and was not impressed. When I arrived, I was checked in a just a few minutes and off to my room. The hotel is old but is remodeled very nice. Due to the old construction it can be noisy and you hear a... More

we booked the Flamingo pretty much as a last resort- everything we tried booking online in the Sonoma and Napa valleys, before choosing this location, was fully booked. We did not know Santa Rosa and I didn't find the hotel's name inspiring. But what a nice surprise! First, the location is perfect if you're planning on around Sonoma and Napa... More

We stayed here for three nights while we visited Sonoma and Napa Valley. We visited during "peak" season and needed a reasonable place to stay. The hotel was clean with a nice pool. We toured all day and then went back to our room to rest. We booked through the hotel website and found the best price through a special... More

We travelled here in August and had a really nice stay. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing. The rooms were clean and quiet. The location is very convenient. We had a death in the family and had to postpone our trip by a week. The staff was very kind and courteous and helped us in re-scheduling our reservation. We... More

The previous reviewer certainly seemed to have a nightmare experience at the Flamingo. My experience was quite pleasant, we just stayed two nights, and were out of the room most of the time. I experienced a friendly staff and decent housekeeping (they forgot to leave washcloths, no big deal). I found it curious that our room was described as newly... More
