Great place to base your wine site seeing out of. We traveled to Napa and Sonoma from there and out along the coast for a scenic tour. Place is clean and staff was friendly. Nice place to stay at night and adventure out during the day.

I just stayed at the Flamingo for 6 nights for a conference. As someone mentioned below, the hotel is a basic 50's style motel, but the room I was in was renovated. I had a very comfortable bed and the front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. I went to the lobby the day before my departure to do an... More

Chris at the Flamingo took my panicked call that my parents had returned from a trip to a house without heat. My dad is on oxygen and so needed a warm room and oxygen delivered before his arrival. Chris walked me through the experience with kindness, warmth and amazing customer service. He gave them a fabulous room, called to confirm... More

We were "upgraded" to this hotel by Priceline, something I was not happy about. I purposely bid on 3 star hotels because those available had free gym and internet access. But, Priceline gave me what they called a "no cost" upgrade, which ended up being $1.50 per hour internet charge (or $7 daily rate), plus $12 per person if you... More

We recently stayed at this location, the hotel needs some upgrades, however we liked the location and the hotel staff were friendly. The bathroom needs an upgrade, it is very small and the countertops were in need of being updated/replaced. The location is close to some vineyards if you are into tastings, the pool looked nice and was a good... More

The room is crying for a remodel; it is so dated, so drab, and not at all the kind of room I would want to invite people to or enjoying hanging around in. On the positive, it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. It's also in a GREAT location, and there's an iHOP restaurant a half a block today.... More

This hotel is a find in a city where rates at others are extremely expensive. The quality of their staff is that of a 5 star hotel. The rooms are clean and completely updated. Food in their restaurant and the service was above average. I will be back to stay with this hotel anytime I am in the Santa Rosa... More

Decided to stay in a hotel further away from San Francisco and this was a great pick. Was upgraded to a bigger room, and everything was good. Hotel programs were good. Hot tub, big swimming pool x 2 (one was closed) and near vincinity of town located at 4th street. Parking free... Internet was a let down. I paid for... More

We've stayed several times at the Flamingo and have had a great experience. The hotel is close to shopping, groceries, and wine country destinations, yet it's tucked away enough to make being pool-side feel luxurious. The room on our recent stay was great, nice size, spacious shower, well appointed. There's a real comfort level here. Try to snag a good... More

We wanted to do some shopping in Santa Rosa for the weekend. Decided to try the Flamingo. Room was very clean. Outside was just ok. Needs some updating. Did eat ta the restaurant one night. Bartender was good. Wouldn't stay again for romance, but would stay just for a shopping trip. TIP: Don't use Priceline for the area. They qualify... More
