I had my wedding there on 5/9/09 because we truly fell in love with Hotel La Rose and the staff. Laura, Val, Janet -- amazing. Everyone who works there truly enjoys what they do and it comes across in their service. The hotel holds so much history, character, and charm. The people make it a truly wonderful amazing experience. The... more

We only got to stay one night but we'll definitely be back. This hotel has so much character. It does not have that cookie cutter blandness that chain hotels can have. The staff is very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel and they enjoy sharing it. We had a third floor room facing the back of the hotel that... more

I stayed at the Hotel La Rose's Carriage House. There is the main hotel, and then also a separate building across the street, which is called the Carriage House. First, when I arrived very late at almost 2 AM, I found that the staff had cancelled my room, which was not cool since I specifically called ahead when I confirmed... more

Enjoyed the hotel greatly. Of course it helped that it was a really lovely refuge on a day when the skies opened up with rain. The staff could not have been nicer. We all enjoyed our breakfast -- it was much more than we expected. The free glass of wine on our way to dinner was a nice touch. Great... more

Though the staff were nice on check in and check out, and apologetic for the problems, the Hotel La Rose has definitely seent its better days. After reading prior reviews about noise, we specifically asked for a suite that did not front on the noisy side. I was assured that i would have a "back side king suite." When we... more

We loved staying at the Hotel La Rose. We had a room in the original building. It was nicely decorated, very clean and had everything we needed. The coffee was great, and the toiletries were very nice indeed. Very comfortable bed. We asked for ice, and it was brought up to our room with bottled water and fruit, at no... more

You are in for a treat if you stay at the 101 year old Hotel La Rose. It is beautifully restored with a wonderful atmosphere and tons of antiques. Our room was spacious and had nooks, crannies and a vaulted ceiling (we were on the top floor). The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the European style continental breakfast... more

My husband and I spent two nights at the Hotel La Rose and we loved it. It was an older hotel - more along the lines of a Bed and Breakfast. It had antiques, quaint furniture and a delicious European style breakfast that was included in the price of the room. The staff was very friendly.....will definitely stay there again... more

We had a great stay in the Carriage House across the street for 2 nights. We had the back corner room, first floor (room 56), which was very private and quiet. Had no troubles with motorcycles or traffic. The rooms were very big and bathrooms huge by any hotel standards. Toiletries were a fabulous blood orange scent. The bathroom was... more

Just a few steps front door of the hotel. first 2 nights (room 60) faced the street with a 4 way stop. So the motor cycles very loud all night . A bar down the street music loud. After... more
