This hotel is located close to highway 101 and not too far from road 12 . Our room located at the back on the 2nd floor was wide , quiet and comfortable .The bed was firm and the room temperature easily controllable .Good TV and WIFI reception . Breakfast is included and served close to the swimming pool . The... More

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Sandman Inn in Santa Rosa for three nights last weekend. We found it clean, comfortable and reasonably quiet. There is some noise because it is close to Route 101, but the noise is not bad. Breakfast is provided. It is called 'continental' but it includes waffles (make your own), biscuits and gravy, dry... We spent one night here. Pretty clean (they need to clean out light fixtures) and comfortable. Quite a big place but quiet. We were across from pool and had no noise issues. The breakfast is pretty lame,,, no protein except for a few hard boiled eggs. Waffles , cereal, yogurt and juices. Packaged pastry. There is a Carrows right next... More

This hotel was our best find of of our vacation. The staff were friendly, the hotel was very clean and their breakfast was delicious. This is by far the BEST value you can find in Santa Rosa. If you want to explore wine country on a budget, then this is an awesome place to stay! Highly recommend!

This was a great place to stay when you are wine tasting for the weekend. It is very reasonable and not too far from the wineries in Healdsburg and Dry Creek Area. Their Continental Breakfast has a lot of choices, Making your own waffles, bagels, juices and coffee.

We stayed for three nights while visiting family in Santa Rosa. Had a first floor room (143) at the back corner of the property near a plot of grass next to the pool. A great spot as it was quiet and also convenient for taking the dog out in the middle of the night. The grass area was even large enough... More

My two kids, 14 and 11, my wife and dog spent last Friday and Saturday at the Sandman. Overall it was pretty good. The room reeked of smoke and was a bit dirty. Being a "dog" room, I thought might be the reason. The pool was cold, but it is winter. The jacuzzi was nice. The breakfast was very good... More

The rooms are large - by British standards - and have all the gizmos: microwave, coffeemaker, etc. which we never use. Comfortable beds though a little light on covers for a chilly night. Really good breakfast - considering it was advertised as continental only! Loved the "bake your own waffles", plenty of juice, tea and most types of bread and... More

Sandman Motel is a budget property but you get a lot for your money. There are 4 two-story buildings with about 100 guestrooms, plus a swimming pool, hot tub and breakfast room. It's convenient to reach from 101 and close to a number of restaurants, gas stations and Trader Joe's. The double queen room we got was on the first... More

We planned a weekend in Santa Rosa and Sonoma, to visit wineries. This is an excellent location, right off the 101. The hotel is nicely appointed, but not fancy. Rooms are clean, Towels are good quality. Beds comfortable. Breakfast is deluxe continental...perfect if you like cereal or waffles. We would stay here again, if in the area.
