My wife and I stayed there for two nights; a Friday and Saturday, reserving this location only because the Petaluma Quality Inn jacked their prices up out of all reason for Thanksgiving weekend. I have lived in the area and was aware of the character of the surrounding area. The hotel is located in an area of Santa Rosa Avenue... More

Although Quality Inn is not at the top of the Choice Hotels brands, this particular Quality Inn could be. Nice, comfortable overnight stay. My test is always, "Would we stay there again?" Yes. Location-wise, perhaps a little too close to a small strip mall; on the other hand, the Happy Hen restaurant in the mall was convenient and good.

The front desk clerks were very helpful and friendly. The coffee was decent. Now, the room, I give it average rating. The bed wasn't comfortable, the pillows were flat. The carpet is dingy. The room was at least clean. Now, my biggest complaint and POOR complaint is housekeeping stole my ipad charger. I unplugged the alarm clock and plugged in... More

The picture is very deceiving as it off a main highway. They have no elevators and it is very run down. It is a not in a safe place of town. Mike at the front desk way beyond rude to me. Highly recommend Hamptons Inn and Suites in Windsor- 30 min North of this hotel.

We stayed in Santa Rosa this past week, visiting my brother. I work in the hotel business in Oregon, so I've become a bit of a snob in the last 10 years or so, but I will say that this room was not bad at all. We stayed at the end of the building, so we got some noise from... More

A group of us stayed here after participating in a relay race. To be honest, I was so exhausted, I can't speak to the quality of the bed or the soundproofing issues - I was out. But, I can speak to the lack of an elevator which is a total drag and the lack of cleanliness. They need to vacuum... More

We stayed here for a last minute trip to Sonoma County because our usual hotel was fully booked. Hallway carpets need cleaning. Our room was clean and in good condition. The TV worked well with HD and proper aspect ratios on all channels. While this hotel seemed fine at first it was way too noisy when we tried to sleep.... More

Pros: Comfortable bed and plenty of parking. Cons: Not very clean, ragged carpets, noisy, not enough food in the too small dining room. The window AC was on full blast or not at all. The maids parked their carts right outside our room at 8:00am and were very LOUD. The doors are the type to SLAM if people don't ease... More

My husband and I stayed here because most other hotels were booked due to a large number of wine country events that weekend. It became very obvious as to why this hotel was not booked the second we entered the hotel. The lobby carpet was absolutely filthy, stained, and disgusting, and the furniture was strictly low-quality. The bathroom in the... More

We stayed here because we were on the road in August on a Saturday night without reservations. After finding a couple of places in Sebastopol were full, and one place wanted $350 for the night, we agreed to take the "last room" at the Quality Inn in Santa Rosa for $250, making the reservation over the phone when we were...
