The place was simple, clean, spotless, had a continental breakfast set up in the room for free. Staff was nice, a good experience. Just a few doors down a motel for 60.00 more, so we made the right choice! And VERY quiet. Bed was a little hard, but other than that, great value!

We are from the UK and hear scare stories about dodgy motels and when we arrived we thought this looked like one of those places. However, we found the place to be really clean and pleasant to stay in. Good value for money with nice big rooms and ensuite bathroom. The staff were actually quite helpful and gave us phone... Stayed here for two nights over new years. The hotel was decently priced. It is located in a great location right off the freeway and a five minute drive away from downtown where all the local eateries and shops are. They also put snacks in the room as a free breakfast.

For an over $100 place with taxes this place was just meh. Front staff was not very friendly, barely looked me in the eyes when I spoke to her, and in the morning when I dropped the keys off the same deal. The room is clean, appears to be very safe so if you're looking to just crash this place... More

Thank You for your review and concern. Upon speaking with the Desk Clark on duty, she agreed that she could have been more conversing. She has had a cold for a few days and was at the peak of adverse symptoms. Another colleague could have handled the desk duties. Also, we regret the road noise, which usually quiets down after... Located just off the 101 freeway. No street noise, but some from room above. Clean, spacious room with better than average decor. Comfortable bed. Room amenities include coffee maker, fridge and microwave. The windows had blackout curtains, however there was a small uncovered window on the opposite wall and the light did wake me up. Bathroom with everything in working... More

When booking I inquired about the the road noise given their location. They unhesitatingly told me that during the day it would be noisy, but after 8pm it quiets down. They were right. I got one of the rooms furthest from the street (a nicely updated one), and had no trouble with noise, either from the road or the adjoining... More

Hada quick overnight stay with my wife.. The front office clerk was a bit hard to understand and it smelled like pickles or something.. But the room (single king size. About $100) was fine.. Clean, basic... Bathroom has a glass showerstall fit for tall people instead of one of those stupid mini baths most hotels have. No breakfast included but... More

We usually stay at the Sandman when in Santa Rosa, which is a great hotel, but it was booked so we found this place-not knowing what part of town it was in. It is in a not so desirable location (drugs and hookers), but we didn't have any issues and it was quiet at night. The location is convenient as... More

There are so many ocmments about this place I do not know were to begin. 1. Upon arrival at noon, the website show 1;00pm for earliest checkin time. The clerk said at 3:00pm and I show proof with my confirmation printout. They conceeded and my room was ready at 1:00pm. 2. The motel is in the worst location in Santa... More

Thank You for your review. We regret the inconveniences you experienced. Our flaws will be corrected to the best of our ability. 1. We apologize for the check in time error. The desk clerk was not aware of previous 1:00 P.M. check in time, which has been changed to 3:00 P.M. due to busy summer season. 2. Recently Santa Rosa... More

The Redwood Inn is located on a main street in Santa Rosa. Close to grocery stores...there's a Trader Joes within approx 1/2 mile . Restaurants in the downtown area very close by with lots of choices. Redwood Inn is modest and family owned. It is very clean and neat. The rooms look newly renovated and are very comfortable.
