We stayed at Palms inn for one night and had a really good time. The room was perfectly clean and cosy and the staff very helpful - printing out some documents for me and helping me getting some money back that I had left behind. I highly recommend it!

Stayed there Sat 8/16/14 great room, had trouble with rental car, they mapped out directions to the nearest Firestone-had to get 2 faulty tires replaced. Hertz rented us a car with 2 bad tires, knowing we were traveling up the coast. We will never rent a car from them again-ever! They told us we should've checked the tires, guess we... More

I booked a room on-line at the Palms Inn for 2 nights for the Santa Rosa Marathon. As soon as my boyfriend and I arrived, we were struck by how discombobulated and unprofessional the staff were. They were running around saying that their phones weren't working. The person who appeared to be the manager was reprimanding the hotel clerk. I... More

I am extremely sorry you had to witness that sequence of events. The person who appeared to be the manager was not the manager but a senior employee who has been reprimanded for his behavior. The phone system having issues was an embarrassing equipment failure on our part that should not have gotten as out of hand as it did.... More

My husband and I are in the area and had reserved a room for one night. My husband went to the 'hotel' early to check in for us while I was with our daughter at the college. His first instincts and reactions told him that this was not a desirable place to stay. He went ahead and checked in but... More

Tammy M, Our location has as liittle crime as the rest of sonoma county, despite it's run-down appearance. However your concerns are underestandable as it is a common misconception about our area. It is our hotel's policy that we happily refund Expedia guests who do not want to stay with us (even if they have already checked in and do... More

We needed a room in wine country, and this was the least expensive. The man at the front desk was nice, and they allow pets, but it was not worth the $99 we paid, after tax. The hotel was full. So was the parking area. There was some ancillary parking on the property well over 100 yards away. The room... More

This stay was a disaster from start to finish. A friend and I booked a one night stay in a King room by phone directly with the hotel, the reservation was taken by a gentleman with a very distinctive voice & style of speech. When we arrived on the confirmed date, this same gentleman said our reservation was for the... More

Stayed here for a night when everything else in this area was booked/ unavailable. Pros: ** Rooms were fairly spacious, neat and come equipped with most amenities like TV, air conditioner, iron, iron board, coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. ** Bed was comfortable but a little old school. ** They have onsite laundry facility. ** Staff was very polite and... Thank you for your review. I appreciate the organized "Pros/Cons" as well as your willingness to recommend us to other travelers. We are slowing acquiring newer linens, furniture, and other "decor" for the rooms, so with any luck if you stay with us again next year the decor will be much more up to date. We recently purchased and installed... More

As others have said, was a little apprehensive when I arrived at The Palms Inn, as there were a lot of labourers etc loitering, and there is a Greyhound bus stop in the attached convenience store - lots of luggage stacked around the place. The guy on reception and Miguel in the shop were pleasant and helpful. Good sized room,... More

staff was very kind. there's a convenience store in the hotel open late with a fair selection of healthier foods, for emergency eating... and a restaurant with a big house salad for only 5$. other than that, all meat ... (i'm a raw veg) there's also a courtyard with a fountain that's cool and the environment i found peaceful. the... More

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry the breakfast options were not to your liking, but we're happy you overall enjoyed your stay. As you noticed, some of our rooms are in the process of being upgraded to the same quality as others. However, 89 of our 104 rooms are furnished with the newer linens. - Douglas Lum Front Office... I spent a very happy, pleasant 6 nights here. I was a little worried at check-in about all the people hanging around in the lot, and about the condition of the place. But every night was quiet and peaceful, the room was clean and smelled fresh, the staff were all very helpful and friendly, and I felt quite safe here... More
