We actually live here in Santa Rosa but wanted to get away for our anniversary. A spring getaway package promised us two nights in a deluxe room with fireplace and a dining certificate for $100 to be used at John As & Company, the hotel's well known restaurant (a separte review will appear shortly). At $460 including taxes, this was... more

We had a beautiful - and very quiet - second floor room, facing the courtyard. All the amenities were there, except an in-room coffee maker. (Morning coffee was available directly downstairs.) The hotel's setting, in a garden and vineyard, is delightful. You'd have no idea this was almost a "freeway off-ramp" location. We had a fine meal at the John... more

At first, when exiting the highway, you can't believe the hotel is right in front of you, given the sort of weird power lines to the west, but once inside its grounds, you become aware only of the gorgeous grounds, impeccable rooms and helpful staff. We had a first floor suite (which I don't even remember reserving) with a large... more

Some one on the reviews said it best, at 1st you look like you are simply pulling off of the highway in to an area of a power plant... once you are on their 'campus' you soon forget all of that. Hot tub was nice, the massage therapist the staff scheduled were great and the room was nice-- a bit... more

A group of ten of us went to celebrate the birthday of one of our party. We got an incredible deal on a travel website. Incredible! I had stayed there before as my friend's daughter had been married there. We had a GREAT time. The rooms were ample and beautifully decorated, The turndown service with homemade cookies was divine! The... more

My husband and I stayed here as part of our CA honeymoon! We were completely in love with the beautiful grounds and lovely hotel room. We adored our patio that looked out on vineyards. We sat there and drank wine and just relaxed. It was wonderful, romantic, and a favorite stop in our coastal tour of CA. We were literally... more

Everything about Vintner's Inn is nice, but not the great I would expect for the very high price tag. Rooms are average for a four-star. The small pool and small workout room are in need of updating. The complimentary continental breakfast is the basic small pastries (about 3 to choose from), yogurt, two juices, cereal and one bowl of mixed... more

The room was very nice, although it had a terrible acoustic problem - you could actually hear everything that was happening on the floor above us...The continental breakfast was not very interesting, and we definately expected something better for the price we payed. The surroundings are definately beautiful, and the John Ash & Co. restaurant is also great (we ate... more
