We stayed at the Glen Tavern Inn for the 3rd time and every time was a great experience. The rooms are like the Inn, antique like Victorian. very clean and most reasonable prices. Staff is great. Right in town so you are in walking distance to just about everything.

This was the only non-Motel 6 we stayed at on our 11 day Cali adventure and I am glad we stayed. The front entrance has a beautiful entrance with the well-trimmed hedges, flags and dark wood trim. The inside is clean, old and charming. The blonde front desk guy was super friendly and once he found out I like hunting... More

With the Ventura County Fair in full swing, nice rooms were either fully booked or priced out of my budget. To save cash, we drove 15 minutes east to Santa Paula to stay at the historic Glenn Tavern Inn. The lobby looks like mountain lodge from the 1950′s, and the young staff members were attractive, welcoming, and chatty. But all... More

Our recent stay at Glen Tavern was a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t expecting much since the rate was so low. Our high ceiling room had a large flat screen TV, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The style of the furnishings was in keeping with the historical building. The bathroom was more contemporary with an engineered stone counter top with double... More

We ate dinner in the dinning room, Juan had the filet mingon and I had the New York Cut and they were both cooked to perfection. The old world charm... More

I had seen the Glen Tavern Inn for years, but had never stayed here. The hotel is over 100 years old, across from the equally historic Santa Paula Train Station. But last weekend, we gave it a try. We arrived late, around 10 pm, and found the private parking lot at the rear of the hotel very well lit. Entering... More

I travel extensively for my job and I've stayed in nearly every form of accommodation known to man-- from elite luxury hotels, to family-run B&Bs, to sketchy motels that have the only vacancy in town. This hotel beats them all. It's a stunning piece of historical property with a sense of authentic grandeur of the past that few hotels can... More

Historic can be cool..If you don't mind listening to your neighbors through the walls. The stains all over the drab carpeting. My bed was short sheeted, didn't quite fit the uncomfortable historic springy stiff bed, maybe the ghosts were having a little fun. The room seemed kind of clean as long as you didn't look close or look up. It... More

Booked 3 nights, only stayed 2. Had business in Santa Paula and figured it would be nice be close to the conference. Family came with me, and my wife was excited for this hotel because she likes historical places and "haunted" places. When I told the locals at the conference where I was staying, they were surprised and suggested I... More
