Was traveling to San Diego for vacation and being an avid paranormal investigator decided to make the stop in Santa Paula to spend the night in the Inn, thats been featured in a few paranormal TV episodes. Even though it was a quite stay, it was a nice stay. Lots of history here. The staff was friendly and informative. The... More

Larger chain hotels should contact this establishment for Customer Service training. Everyone that I came in contact with was so warm, friendly and would put in extra effort to make you feel welcomed. It did not come across as fake or scripted......a very pleasant and positive experience.

The Glen Tavern is an Amazing Historical location with a true nostalgic feel. It was one of two Hotels where people who were relocated from the Saint Francis flood in 1928 where placed. Ghost Adventures, The Dead Files, Lisa Williams and multiple other shows and movies have been filmed there. The guys in the lobby know a lot about the... More

I was having a Christmas party and booked overflow guests here. They reported, variously, filthy rooms including vomit on one bathroom floor, stoned night clerk, shabby furniture, etc. Both fled before the night was over.

Sorry it's a cute little place in middle of town but the rooms aren't even as nice as a holiday inn. Maybe even a travel lodge. It is the nicest in town but Ventura is just 15 minutes away do yourself a favor if you can and go there. At least they have more modern hotels.

We stayed at the Glen Tavern Inn for the 3rd time and every time was a great experience. The rooms are like the Inn, antique like Victorian. very clean and most reasonable prices. Staff is great. Right in town so you are in walking distance to just about everything.

This was the only non-Motel 6 we stayed at on our 11 day Cali adventure and I am glad we stayed. The front entrance has a beautiful entrance with the well-trimmed hedges, flags and dark wood trim. The inside is clean, old and charming. The blonde front desk guy was super friendly and once he found out I like hunting... More

With the Ventura County Fair in full swing, nice rooms were either fully booked or priced out of my budget. To save cash, we drove 15 minutes east to Santa Paula to stay at the historic Glenn Tavern Inn. The lobby looks like mountain lodge from the 1950′s, and the young staff members were attractive, welcoming, and chatty. But all... More

Our recent stay at Glen Tavern was a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t expecting much since the rate was so low. Our high ceiling room had a large flat screen TV, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The style of the furnishings was in keeping with the historical building. The bathroom was more contemporary with an engineered stone counter top with double... More
