Booked 3 nights, only stayed 2. Had business in Santa Paula and figured it would be nice be close to the conference. Family came with me, and my wife was excited for this hotel because she likes historical places and "haunted" places. When I told the locals at the conference where I was staying, they were surprised and suggested I... More

My daughter and I checked in not knowing the history of this Inn! What a fun evening we had reading stories and learning the history! We walked to dinner (the restaurant was not open at the time we arrived), safe small town! Got a snow cone from the local snow cone stand and enjoyed the beautiful weather! The vintage hotel... More

The service is the best! Friendly and informative front desk staff, and the owners, Tom and Rosanna, are often in the lobby, ready to visit. While we did not eat at the restaurant, it has a great reputation in the town.

Just spent the night at the Glen Tavern Inn, first time. I had a business meeting in the area so combined it with a quick getaway with the wife. Reservations easy, and actually showed up at 12 noon because of the meeting. The clerk said checkin was 3 but he could try to arrange a early checkin in perhaps an... More

We stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The lobby is huge and amazing with lots of comfortable seating areas and with an elegant ambiance. The front desk was friendly, courteous and accomodating. They were happy to answer all of our questions. We enjoyed the full bar but didn't try the restaurant (it looked good though). Our room... Awesome and friendly hotel! That last thing you want when you escape the big city is to encounter that impatient big city attitude. I booked a night for my gf and I's anniversary online, I called prior to our arrival to get parking info, dinner reservations and checkin/checkout time and was surprisingly told that we were upgraded to the penthouse... My husand and I took our two young daughters here last night. The owners and the rest of the staff are so friendly and professional. The inn has been around for a long time and is full of history. We will be back at the inn and the restaurant (Enzo's) in the very near future.

This hotel is really neat. It has so much history. Rooms were clean. Hotel is very well kept and maintained. We ate at the Italian restaurant inside the hotel. The food was really good. Bathrooms are a bit small but that was expected. Parking lot is also small but that's not an issue unless some big special event is going... More

We have family near by and we often select to stay at the Glen Tavern Inn. We love dining at the Italian restaurant located in the hotel. Most delicious chicken I have ever tasted! We even heard the waiter serenade some on their birthday!

Our daughter married her Scottish husband here in late 2012. It was the perfect experience, with everyone staying at the hotel for two nights. Wedding morning, we had mimosas and beignet (from Rabalais Bistro on Main Street) and enjoyed the comfy lobby. Parties left for Geocaching, museums, and beauty salons. When we returned the flowers were arriving and the folks... More
