We had a great anniversary with our infant son at the Miramar. We stayed in an older palisade suite, and we're impressed with the size of the room and the nice touches like our sons name in sponges and champagne and chocolate strawberries when we checked in.
The pool was great and the food was fresh and delicious, especially the...

Having always been a huge Shutter's fan my family never considered anything else. We were
"forced" into the Miramar during the USC graduation weekend, and loved every minute of it. The rooms are lovely, room service menu to die for ( or so my kids tell me ), pool service incredible. Only little glitch, the day we arrived we had really...

We stayed here for 4 nights and because we were on our honeymoon we were upgraded to a huge junior suite and I mean huge!!! There was a very large living room, separate bedroom, ensuite and 2 walkin wardrobes. It did face onto the street at the back of the hotel and was on ground level but it was very...

My wife and I stayed at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel on our way back to Australia after visiting New York. The hotel was recommended to us by friends and our travel agent. When we arrived it was late at night and our initial impression was not that good, particularly of the room as it was a typical 50's hotel room...

We stayed here for five days over a graduation weekend with family, and enjoyed the hotel, spa, and the outdoor pool and restaurant very much. The standard rooms, however were a bit cramped, and the bathroom was tiny. We found , however, that we had to hang the do-not-disturb sign on the door quite often, because there was an endless...

From an expectations perspective, just understand that this is more of an urban/city hotel than a "beachy" hotel.
Pros
- Location, just a few blocks from the Pier. Close enough, but not right next to it.
- Our room was clean and well appointed (e.g. Nespresso machine)
- Staff...

Fabulous Hotel & Customer Service. Wanted to mention though there was an unfortunate experience with some belongings of ours; however, we wanted to praise on the head of security for their professionalism in replacing our belongings. Some hotels may not be so gracious, but Fairmont Miramar Rocks!! Thank you.
We highly recommend Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica.
Sincerely,
Guest

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for several nights in February, 2012. First of all, the location is terrific in Santa Monica. It is on the high cliff near the Santa Monica Pier with a fine view from many rooms of the walking park across the street and the Pacific sunset beyond. Walking to the many attractive places...

Locations of the hotel is key. In the heart of the city, but yet a resort feel. Access to 3rd Street Prominade shops and the new mall makes for a great day unless you're on a business trip and barely have time for room service.
Must dine at FIG....fish tacos!!!!!!
Three hours after I checked out of my amazing bungalow,...
