Suited on Colorado and 2nd street you cannt beat the location if this hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious but you can tell the hotel is a little old and probably needs a make over in the coming years. Second brief stay here - close to LAX and a good place to break up long Australia/New York flights. Wonderfully located next door to Santa Monica Pier and brand new shopping mall (Barney's, Bloomingdales,etc, with stylish rooftop wine bar). An easy walk or hire bike ride to Venice Beach and back. The location of this Hotel is fantastic, its right opposite the Santa Monica Pier and the beginning of the array of the Santa Monica shops and malls. Its noisy on the Mac Donald side of the street. I wore ear plugs but the location over rode that. Good service and free internet service in your rooms. More
