Stayed for a week. And loved being near 3rd st promenade. Visiting grandchildren nearby in Venice. Restaurants, movie theaters, shopping and Apple store all walkable. We'll be repeat customers. More

Despite what others have said, it is an EASY and safe walk to promanade shops and pier. Lots of restaurant choices within walking distance. My Mom and I stayed there while my dad was at UCLA Santa Monica Hospital for surgery. We had lots of unforseen issues and the staff was there with wheel chairs, extending our stay, being compassionate about the situation, and helping (everyone) to make our stay as best as it could be given the circumstances.
