Wifi was horrible and the room just didn't feel clean. I wished I had brought slippers. Needs a lot of tlc to bring that hotel back.

We didn't want to spend a lot on our hotel, and this was a cheap option for us. It's a good location as an Uber/Lyft isn't much to most of the places you'll want to see, and the room is nice and comfortable. The included breakfast is handy to be able to grab a quick bite before heading out, and... More

The facility is in need of some work in that the carpets are worn, the latch on the door is broken, and the stairways were dirty. The place shows signs of neglect and age. The bed was comfortable and being in Santa Monica was convenient for me.

We didn't realize how expensive lodging could be in Santa Monica. We are very satisfied with the price point, service and amenities. We stayed in a King size bed room. Very spacious! Free parking. We were able to check-in very late, accommodating our very late flight. Perfect location for getting around to all the places we wanted to see during... More

Didn't have very high expectations from this relatively inexpensive hotel for New Years Eve but was very surprised. It was clean, up to date and had helpful staff. Good sized room with the two double beds. The queen room our friends had was cheaper but much smaller. Nice sun deck on the roof where we could actually get a glimpse... More

Bathroom fan sounded like a 747, water takes 10 min to get hot wasting gals of precious water and the pipes are tired in backwards. Breakfast is horrible, thank goodness for apples and bananas! Not even really all that cheap. Will not be returning.

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
