The parking was easy and convenient and the breakfast was good and the staff who helped at breakfast was very nice and fulfilled any requests. The hotel has a great staff. The house keeping staff was very nice a responded to any requests quickly. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful which helped make for a pleasant stay.

Good bed. Courteous helpful staff. Good (discounted) rate. Continental breakfast was pretty basic but OK. Telephone reservation person at the 888 number was helpful, but the reservation process was a little confusing.

Stayed here 2 nights. Rooms were roomy, and clean and everything worked fine. The "Continental Breakfast" was basic, cereal, toast, boiled eggs, fruit. Good coffee and they run till 10am. This is a historic old hotel and claims several presidents stayed in it back in the day. They have a secure underground parking lot as well. We paid about $45... More

This review is based entirely on my experience using their "handicapped" room. I was assured prior to making my reservation that the room was handicapped accessible. The door accommodated my wheelchair. But I could not even pull my wheelchair to the side of the bed so I could easily get in. The bathroom did not have wheelchair access to the... More

Had an emergency fax that needed to get through to the East Coast and Chris along with Jason handled it like pros! Well done and thank you so much! One thing is that when you are in a pinch certain folks step up and help. I will look forward to the next visit!

We arrived jet lagged at this hotel after booking it online from Australia, we arrived 1 hour prior to check in and were promptly told to come back when check in available, which wasn't what we wanted to hear after a 16 hour flight. we returned as directed our room was available, the room was very basic, all mod cons... Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
