This review is based entirely on my experience using their "handicapped" room. I was assured prior to making my reservation that the room was handicapped accessible. The door accommodated my wheelchair. But I could not even pull my wheelchair to the side of the bed so I could easily get in. The bathroom did not have wheelchair access to the... More

Had an emergency fax that needed to get through to the East Coast and Chris along with Jason handled it like pros! Well done and thank you so much! One thing is that when you are in a pinch certain folks step up and help. I will look forward to the next visit!

We arrived jet lagged at this hotel after booking it online from Australia, we arrived 1 hour prior to check in and were promptly told to come back when check in available, which wasn't what we wanted to hear after a 16 hour flight. we returned as directed our room was available, the room was very basic, all mod cons... Stayed here for a week. Location isn't the best, but the price can't be beat. The room is a good size, was cleaned every day without concern. Breakfast is weird as it's basically in a guest room. There isn't enough seating and it's a very tight space. There is a pool but we never used it. The staff was friendly... More

This hotel is adequate for a one-night stopover but I wouldn't recommend staying any longer. Although reception staff were efficient, there wasn't much of a welcome. The room was clean and tidy but unfortunately it was right next to the road; it wasn't worth asking for another room just for one night. The continental breakfast was adequate. On the plus... More

It was one of the worst stays, it's privately owned and operated. So you can tell they don't necessarily follow the Days Inn policy to the rule book. Bad Breakfast selection, the place needs a renovation job. The boss (I think he's the owner of this place) who sits behind the counter checking reservations, he's a douche. They want to... More

I know this hotel is located in Santa Monica and that everything is overpriced in Santa Monica. But I feel like they aren't even trying to make this property look nice and attractive because they know there are enough people who will pay close to $200 (inc. taxes and everything) to stay in a hote in SM even if it's... I spent minimal time in my room using it only for sleeping. Here is my impression of the place. Pluses: safe, convenient, free parking Minuses. Sparse breakfast, must pay to use their computer, no conditioner, very small thin towels

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
