Great view onto beach (but also rather noisy for that reason). Good size bathroom and bedroom. Very clean and comfortable. We felt rather pressurised by valet and bell-hop on arrival, but that might be a typical LA/USA thing. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was good. Old hotel that has been very nicely updated. Hotel staff is helpful with suggestions. Valet staff is very quick. An easy walk (3 blocks) to 3rd Street. Across the street from the pier.
