Best bang for the buck, in the Santa Monica area. Not luxurious, but very clean, and in a great area. Double the price for a hotel five minutes closer to the Pier/beach. Area was clean and fairly quiet. Close to good places to eat, shop, and the beach! About a five minute drive to the beach, and a five minute... More

Checked in for a two night stay. Friendly female reception staff during our stay but not so the guy who checked us in probably had an awkward guest before us. There is easily accessible underground free parking below the hotel which is shared with the IHOP. Rooms are clean and bright and the beds comfortable with nice clean crisp sheets... More

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a road trip and were very impressed. The rooms are modern and clean and it is a very short drive (5 minutes) down Santa Monica Boulevard to the shops and beach and about at 30 minute walk. We had no difficulty parking either in Santa Monica or at Venice Beach.... More

We recently stayed for 1 night as we wanted to spend a day in Santa Monica. You can get to Santa Monica in 10min via bus for $1. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Rooms were big and the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy. Would stay there again

My teenagers and I stayed here over a spring break vacation to Los Angeles. The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are clean, and the staff was courteous. I really appreciated the free parking for guests - many hotels in the area charge for this service, and this was one of the reasons why I chose to stay here over... More

I really really enjoyed staying here, the beds were super comfy, service was awesome and 3rd ave/Santa Monica Pier is pretty much a 10 minute Uber ride away at most. Getting in to Hollywood (via Uber) was at most $25 - cheap and easy. Service was really great here, they also have WiFi which was great. We had no issues... More

My Guests stayed at this facility because of its close location to the Saint Johns Hospital for my heart procedures. Your facility is at the perfect place for anyone's benefit to be close to their love ones during life and death medical procedures. Thanks for you service!

A functional and relatively reasonably priced place to stay in Santa Monica. We have stayed here at least 4 times in the past 8 years. They remodeled 2 years ago, making the rooms better space wise but noisier due to wood flooring vs. the old carpeting. Occasional noise from street shoes and rolling baggage can be heard from floors above,... More

We stayed two nights at this location. We wanted to be fairly close to the beach. They had a shuttle which took us within two or three blocks of the beach/pier. The price is high, but not as expensive as the hotels right by the beach. There was an IHop restaurant on site. This was the first Best Western we... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
