If you want to spend under $200 a night in Santa Monica, this Best Western is the only option to consider. It's well located, consistently clean, and the staff do a good job. The internet works and there's a mini fridge and coffee maker in the room. Nothing fancy, but perfect if you just want a place to sleep.

Nice Best Western, definitely solidly in the Plus category. Fast checkin. Well maintained property, free underground parking, comfy bed and pillows, very clean and nicely decorated. We were in room 305, view of parking lots and streets but far enough away so noise did not bother our sleep. Minor irritant: bathroom door automatically closed with no foot to keep it... More

The Hotel has nice and clean rooms, friendly staff, Garage, shuttle to the beach. and W-Lan. But the W-Lan pass often out and you must new Log in. The Ihope is great an can used 4 the roomservice. The Hotel is in the medical district and often comes the Ambulance also during the night. The nearly Restaurants are all expensive... More

This is a nice, clean place to stay. There is free underground parking with elevator to your floor. The employees are helpful and friendly. The free Wi-Fi was very poor and only halfway usable from a few spots in our room. No complimentary breakfast. This stay seemed a little more expensive than other hotels with comparable amenities.

Great location for sight seeing and shopping . City bus is in front of hotel. The rooms are very clean , great beds. Felt safe in under ground parking and outside of hotel. Staff very friendly. Will stay again.

Good hotel. Contracted flat rate taxi service to LAX. Also free shuttle service to and from the beach. Very convenient and affordable. Clean rooms, courteous and professional staff. Reasonable rates. I would definitely recommend this place.

So it's a best western - the hotel version of an average line running through any chart in my eyes. It's a no thrills hotel so no bar, no restaurant (although there is an ihop attached to it next door) and nothing special that makes it stand out from the rest. But I did like the rooms. I really like... More

Good location. Close to beach and shopping. Free shuttle to 3rd street promenade. Very Helpful staff. Very clean. The Only thing missing is a pool and hot tub. Comfortable beds. I wish the Ihop coupon was good for breakfast. I Would stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Big mistake. For $170.00 a night, got crappy internet, a drain in the shower that was super slow, a refrigerator that didn't get cold, 2 beds that squeaked every time you sat on them, and had to go across the street to pay for coffee because they did not have coffee in the lobby. Location... More

This hotel was selected because of its convenience to the medical center I was going to visit. It appeared that most of the other guests were tourists. It is just off the corner of 16th Street and Santa Monica Blvd was convenient to the beach via the hotel shuttle. I did not use the shuttle but it is available every... More

Staying in Santa Monica

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
