stayed at this B&B a coupla weeks ago for three nights enroute to a tahiti cruise on the Paul Gaugin. had requested from management ( after reading reviews of some rooms being musty ) that i needed an allergen free room because of my severe allergies. they nwere gracious and complied by giving us a nice comfortable room on the... I knew we were in a small room but didn't realise that it would be so small that the vanity didn't actually fit in the bathroom. Very tight and very difficult to store suitcases. The price was good but I wouldn't stay in this room again. Even struggled to get a table for breakfast.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Inn, both while on business. It is very comfortable with a nice area for breakfast each morning. The rooms are very comfortable and a bonus is the beach is a five minute walk. There are also restaurants within walking distance of the Inn. My only recommendation is that you not... More

Can understand positive reviews if you are staying for a night or two, however a week was too long! We enquired about moving rooms shortly after arrival as we had so little space and storage (drawers). We continued to ask during our stay, but no-one ever got back to us.. The Inn is comfortable - good bed - but just... More

This beautiful inn is full of charm and elegance. Every room is different with different amenities. Some have fireplaces (none are true wood burning, but still nice; some have large baths for two, or furnished porches. The beds are excellent - mattresses are incredibly comfortable (although very soft) and the covers and sheets were a perfect weight to keep windows... More

We stayed at the Channel Road Inn for the first two nights of our 16 night Californian roadtrip. Having had a 12 hour flight, we were pleased to have arrived at the hotel within two hours of landing, the Channel Road Inn being a 20 minute drive from the car rental place (free parking is available which is rare in... In terms of context for this review we stayed in 16 hotels/motels during a month long vacation that included Route 66 and therefore developed a sense around what offered good value and comfort and the little details that made the stay. This is not a bad hotel but we stayed in better ones during our trip. We stayed for 2... More

We arrived a bit late, but when we ring the doorbell a nice woman opened. The smell that hit us when entering the house was incredible! They make all the food themselves, and now she was making cookies.. Do not need to lie when I say they tasted GREAT. And so did the rest of the food they served at... More

We loved our stay at the inn this past June. The property was lovely with quaint breakfast nooks and places to relax on the ground floor. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated and it had a classic view of the ocean. We'd also like to praise the staff who were all kind, cheerful, helpful and very accommodating. The breakfasts... More

My husband and I stayed here three days, two nights while in California before driving into Vegas and we were so pleased with our stay we cannot wait to come back! The staff was extremely pleasant and the atmosphere, so relaxing! We stayed in the Garden Room, which I will admit, was a bit on the tiny side. Not much... More
