This is our go to spot when visiting Santa Monica! Staff are warm & friendly. The included breakfast sets you on your way and is sufficient to see you to lunch. Rooms are clean & tidy and the location is perfect for our purposes.

I have stayed at many of the large, luxury hotels in the Santa Monica area. This inn was by far my favorite stay in the area. Great location, excellent staff, many nice amenities, and full of charm! Unlike many inns, you do not sacrifice your privacy because there are many communal spaces. Lots of nooks and crannies to read a... More

Wonderful stay, perfect location for us to walk along the beach to Santa Monica, not a short walk but beautiful! The room was very clean and beautifully decorated and waking up to the smell of fresh coffee was an added bonus! Went to The Hungry Cat restaurant at the end of the road which was fantastic.

This charming Inn completely won me over. The place was clean and tidy, the rooms had everything you would need in them. Breakfast was a lovely buffet style affair which the contents of changed daily. There is nothing more tempting than waking up to the smell of freshly baked goodies! The staff cannot do enough for you, and always have... More

This is a great romantic couples getaway. It's a very short walking distance to the beach, although you'll have to slalom around some seedy homeless types to get there. Traffic can be tough around rush hour, so plan accordingly. This is one of the main exits/entrances to PCH.

The place is absolutely charming! Our room was comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. The staff is very courteous, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and appetizers were delicious. They loaned us bikes to ride to Venice Beach and back; so much fun! We truly enjoyed our stay.

We loved it! After the first 3 days we decided to add 3 more and so spent in total 6 days, we truly enjoyed and would stay again when in the area. There were lots of one night guests, many Europeans on road-trips, and there were several repeat/regular guests who apparently feel like this is a home away from home.... More

We looked for a comfortable, quiet, private place in Santa Monica. Despite research, this wasn't it. Our small double was 80 degrees. Turning the AC to max cooled it only to 77. The manager explained the wall-mounted AC was "old" and that was "as cool as it would get." She said that we could open the window and door, as... More

Dear Adenine, Of course, I was extremely concerned to read the severity of your review. We have found that our guests enjoy a steady 73 degrees in the main house but understand how this can be subjective and very much apologize for your discomfort. I feel that there is an underlying issue, aside from that you mention, to warrant such... More

Internet doesn't work well in the bedroom. Bikes need improvement... very old and not well kept. Definitely recommended!!!!

The Channel Rd Inn is a very nice Bed and Breakfast right off Route 1 (old Pacific Coast Highway) near where Interstate 10 feeds into Route 1. This is a very nice, larger, older home that was converted to a B&B. Rooms are nice, no air conditioning, no fan in our room, so summer might be a bit tough if... More
