Ok, I can see how some people find the hotel a bit overrated and snobby but I have to say I would go back again. Great sized room with an ocean view, although with an ocean view you get a nice rumble from the 6 lane road outside during the day. It's not so bad at night but I did use ear plugs just to make sure. Where to start with what's wrong with this place??? ...... Firstly, there is not one full length mirror in the room. The mirrors are tinted grey and "artfully" presented as three separate squares on the wall. You need to duck and tippy-toe to get an idea of a full length view. I stayed in Viceroy in March for 3 nights in room 810 with my cousin. Perfect view from this top floor room. Excellent costumer service from the beginning till the end. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and gave us a glass of champagne upon arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
