I traveled for work and stayed with a family who has raved about this hotel forever. It IS well located but the rooms are so old and musty that it was hard to breathe. We once had another child over while the parents went to dinner and the child had to sleep in the closet. My bed, a roll away,... more

I loved this place! It's absolutely beautiful and makes you feel like you're in an old hollywood movie. My room had a full kitchen and breakfast area. The bedroom was airy and spacious with large windows and french doors leading to a balcony. The bathroom had an attached dressing room. It's within walking distance to the 3rd street promenade and... more

I'd like to say a few words about the Embassy Hotel's manager Birgita. I've been more than a frequent guest at the Embassy, and I've been astonished at the level of her service, cheeriness, and hospitality not only to me but all the Embassy's guests. This review is a belated thank you for her courtesy, professionalism, and warmth. She's a... more

We stayed at the Embassy for 7 nights with our 8 year old child, in one of their one room suites. The living room was huge, the kitchen very well equipped, the bedroom was spacious with comfortable beds, a lovely bathroom. We all adored the charm and atmosphere of the hotel and of the garden. It is the first time,... more

My friend and I stayed for an entire week at the Embassy Hotel Apartments while we took a one week cutting course at the Vidal Sassoon Academy. I wasn't sure what to expect since the reviews were very mixed. Thankfully we had a great time! It's amazingly unique architecture and layout make you feel like you are living in Santa... more

Found this hotel on TripAdvisors and saw great reviews. Since I needed a room with kitchen, I booked the one bedroom suite. When I arrived I was so surprised to see the huge living room and nice size eat in kitchen. There was even room for a dining table in the living room. The bedroom was good size and there... more

I travel all the time for business and was reluctant to stay as I read the reviews. The hotel is basically an apartment converted into a hotel. First the bad: The rooms have no air conditioning. The rooms do not have irons and the hotel manager closes at 8PM. The TV's are pretty sad as well but okay. The parking... more

My family and I stayed for 4 days at the hotel, we have two small children and triple checked to make sure the hotel had a crib, everything was confirmed, we arrived, no crib. Not just one day, ALL DAYS, despite repeated requests. The heat did not work in our room. We were moved, the old cast iron pipes banged... more

Stayed here on business first week of March 2005. This is a very do-it-yourself hotel - outside of 9 to 5 or so, don't expect anyone to be available to do any hand holding. But if you're fairly comfortable finding your own way, this is a perfect place to be, and your standard map of the area and guide to... more
