We love this place. Unlike the luxury hotels, which are significantly more expensive, you have lots of space, a great little kitchenette with delicious coffee packs, breakfast nook, stove, fridge. I reserved a "Superior" room...I cannot imagine how are the "Standard" ones...The room was very small and the furnitures outdated. Bathroom was tiny. Many reviewers say that this hotel has a lot of charm. To me it is simply outdated...Location is terrific (I guess this is the only reason why you agree to pay that price). The best features about the Embassy are its location, room sizes and fully equipped kitchen facilities however it lacks parking and other amenities you would expect to find in a "hotel".
