there could not be a more beautful beach location. We had excellent service from the staff. handled everything well, including a 200-person business symposium and an electrical outage. The public spaces are beautiful, well-thought-out views of beach and everything bathed in light. The rooms are very spacious with very nice finished. Not five-star, but probably 4-star. Stayed here for business. Overall very nice stay. Pretty nice room. Spacious bathroom, very comfortable beds. Big, nice gym. Cool pool area and fire pits for a drink at night. Clueless front desk staff, crappy "modern" decor, and a rude call from security lodging a "noise complaint" a whole 3 minutes after arriving back to the hotel with 3 sleeping kids. AT 10:30!!! This place is a far cry from sophistication, and left this family with a horrible taste of L.A. in its mouth. Rip. Off. More

Awesome location overlooking Muscle Beach and Santa Monica pier. True 5 star experience, staff very friendly with superb concierge and valet parking. Rooms are excellent ours had an ocean view. While at thr hotel we attended the 'Summer of Loews' event, which was well worth it; live music plus local cuisine and drinks. Can't wait to return!! More

The hotel is located perfectly next to the Santa Monica Pier. Nice rooms with great balconys and a very nice pool area made our stay a real pleasure.
