We were charged $185 for alleged min-bar purchases after we checked out! The only item we purchase was a $5 bottle of Fiji water. As inflated as the prices are I don't think that there is even $185 worth of stuff in there. I am now stuck disputing these charges with my credit card company. Be VERY careful with this... more

We stayed at the Sheraton Delfina as part of a wedding group for three nights. The quality of the customer service was extremely good. We found the valet attendants and front desk personnel to be attentive, helpful, and very friendly. I suppose the rooms are on the older side, but we did not mind. Our only complaint was that the... more

This was one of the most disappointing stays I have ever had at a hotel, bar none. On the good side, the staff were fine and the lobby is great. Once you leave the first floor, it goes straight down the tubes. The room looked like it hadn't been refurbished in decades. I really mean decades. The carpeting was so... more

After reading the reviews on this site, I was very worried about our stay here, it was the 2nd hotel in a week long road trip and the best, besides the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay which is hard to beat. I'm a Starwoods member and credit card holder and booked this with my points, which was part of the... more

we arrived the sheraton after a 2 weeks travelling through california. it is really far from the promenade and the beach, so we had to walk more than 2 miles each time. the buiding reminds old soviet cold war buidings, lobby was ok and the clerk was nice. we complained about the location of the room (supposing to be a... more

We stayed at the Delfina for three nights in June. I'm very picky about choosing hotels and always read tripadvisor reviews thoroughly before booking anything. The lobby was stunning, very modern & obviously recently rennovated; check-in was quick & hassle-free; and our room was very clean and spacious (we even had a fairly big balcony overlooking the pool). The staff... more

I was here for 1 night (on July 4) using Starwood's C&P program. As a Starwood Platinum, I received an upgrade to a full ocean view room on the 6th floor. Looking at the floor plans, there seems to be only a few rooms per floor with this view. Other than the penthouse, I don't think there was any other... more

We stayed at this hotel and wouldn't recommend it. It is supposed to be a luxury hotel - the noise levels in the bedroom from the busy road were at times unbearable. We complained to reception, and they gave us 2 complimentary breakfasts. There is limited self service parking, although we did manage to park. When we checked out they... more

Coming from Florida, I was surprised when checking in and noticing the decor was very much like South Beach in Miami. Stark, clean lines, with a lot of dark browns and blue. We had heard about the complimentary self parking and when pulling up to the valet, they very much urged us not to try it. After asking if we... more

I've stayed in a lot of Starwood hotels for work and had a couple of free nights, so I used two of them here (and paid $249 for a third). Like the other reviews here say, there are very limited self parking spaces, so you are forced to pay $30 per night for the valet. Also, only one elevator worked... more
