We stayed at this wonderful reasonably priced hotel last year. We had two rooms, one of which was the suite equipped with full kitchen and balcony, so we were able to cook up some marvelous meals very conveniently at the end of the day (the fish markets in the area were extraordinary!). The hotel is located in the heart of... More

We stayed for 2 nights in a king room. The room was small and there was a stall shower with dated fixtures/lighting. Towels were pretty thin and rough. The room was also dated, but had a table/chairs and an old TV. The staff were excellent and the location can't be beat. Parking was free and wifi worked really well. Breakfast... More

I loved santa monica and this hotel is in a great location, two blocks from the ocean, surrounded by small restaurants and boutiques. The staff is great, helpful and knowledgeable but they are out to make an extra buck: be aware of this when asking for help with tours or cabs to the airport. Not dishonest, but out to make... More

Thank you for your review. We present and offer many Hollywood Tours for one reason only, as a convenience to our guests. These companies pick up at our motel each morning and we’ve received great feedback about them over the years. For the most part, people want to relax and don’t want to contend with the legendary Los Angeles traffic... More

This lovely family owned motel is just what you need when you want to relax and get away from the city. It is right on Main with it's shops and restaurants and 3rd street promenade is just a 20minute walk away. Next to the Sea Shore is a fantastic italian deli for all your morning cravings! Santa Monica beach &... More

Came here last summer with my best friend and had a very good time. We spent to days in Santa Monica before heading off to Las Vegas. After a blast in San Diego we were looking for a uncomplicated place where to stay and good sleeping quality. Found it in this motel. Large and spacious rooms , and a very... More

Staff was very nice and the location is great! Room was excessively noisy though and musty. My luggage still smells. More

We stayed at the Sea Shore Motel in Santa Monica for 5-nights in April on our return to the UK from New Zealand. We had booked a standard room on the internet a number of months in advance of our visit. On arrival we were allocated room 19 on the first floor next to the sun deck. Prior to our... More

The Sea Shore is an older motel with dated decor and somewhat tacky furnishings. But, it is clean and well-managed. The basic ammenities include a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, a fridge that keeps the beer "not warm" and a TV set. There is no coffee pot or access to a cup in the office nor a public computer. A... More

I've been traveling to LA for the last 10 years--I always stay at the Sea Shore. In addition to being extremely reasonable for the area, the people who manage it are terrific. They are extremely accommodating. I also love the location. It's convenient to many stores and restaurants and has free parking. More

This was by a small margin the cheapest hotel on our trip, but by a big margin it was also the most basic. We stayed in March and at night the room was cold and draughty with tiled floors and no working heating. We used phone directories as draught excluders. that said it was surprisingly quiet, clean and comfortable and... More
