Wow, where to begin. I planned a romantic weekend here with my wife (both in our late twenties). We booked a room over a week in advance and got there at about 11 am on a Saturday and checked in. They told us our room wouldn't be ready till 12 so we left our bags and hit the boardwalk. When... more

We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Casa Blanca Inn last week. Our room had a country inn flavor with a magnificent view of Monterey Bay. We were Pleased to have a good mattress so we had a good night's sleep. We were right a cross the street from the beach and wharf, and restaurants . Our favorite was the... more

We were on mandatory evacuation from our threatened home in the Santa Cruz mountains and the people at the Casablanca took us in and made us feel safe and offered to help in every way they could. The room was perfect for our needs, both physical and emotional, and the people working there--especially Dolores at the desk, and Gwyn, the... more

They required a 3 night stay @ $220 a night - yet rooms next to you would rent for one night. Room had stained wallpaper, bathroom sink did not drain, left over beer can was stuffed inside chair. No room ventilation - had to use floor fan which made a great deal of noise. There was a nice view of the... more

I recently spent the past 2 nights in Room 52 and was pleasantly surprised at how peaceful and safe this hotel was yet in the heart of the "fun" part of Santa Cruz. We woke to the sound of waves through our open windows and the perfect weather. Fabulous breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. We then sat on our deck... more

You would only like this hotel if you were a student on a budget, or if you don't get out much. We stayed in a room facing the water on the terrace, but found out that it was shared with the room next door. There was no window to the front, just a glass door - and if we wanted... more

This place provides safe parking, and easy access to the main strip. The rooms however were another story. the bathroom was very small, with very few and thin towels. The outdoor furniture was run down and falling apart! For the price we paid, I would have expected much better quality rooms and service!!!! breakfast was a joke... unless u favor... more

I first discovered the Casa Blanca Inn on my honeymoon 17 years ago. I have been back 10+ times since then and love every minute of it. Want to sleep to the sound of the ocean surf? Open a window. Want to be in the middle of a big event? Want a romantic get away? Need a quiet weekend to... more
