We stayed 1 night, it's basic like motel. Location is great, 15 minutes waliking to beach, 20 to downtown. Breakfast is poor, Ok for 1 night. We paid 100$, I don't know if it's good price for Santa Cruz, but city is not attractive so should be cheaper.

I have slept in numerous hotels / motels and this one offers a good price / value deal. The beds are tidy, there is AC and the bathroom is tiled (not the plastic nightmare of other motels). For the location and the condition it is very inexpensive. The breakfast is the usual sad deal (I'm German, we are very picky... More

We weren't sure what to expect, but the room was clean and the beds comfortable. A great value for the money. We will stay here again. We had a nice two room suite with kitchenette. The value club is easy to join and offers instant discounts.

Paid 200 dollars for one night in this motel, the rooms were small and dark and had a really bad smell in it, Would not recommend for anyone to stay in this overpriced dump!!! It is convenient to the centre of Santa Cruz but that's the only plus.

If your looking for luxury go else where. If your after decent clean serviceable accommodation 10 mins from the the Boardwalk then look no further. Tip. Ask for a courtyard room not one facing onto the road.

Very simple and excellent accommodations! We actually had a little "suite" -- which means two rooms with a door between, with a queen bed in each room -- just perfect for us and our teen-aged son. One perfectly clean bathroom with toiletries and an excellent shower, and even a kitchenette with fridge and microwave (which we didn't use, but it... More

Very basic accommodations. Breakfast was your carbo centered diet of cereal, small donuts. Had to ask for orange juice machine to be turned on. About 1/2 mi walk to the carnival area. Great walk west of there is the lighthouse and surfing museum. Questionable value. Room was quite small.

The "two queen beds" was actually two separate rooms with doors that shut. The bathroom was in the middle. Only one TV--old school TV at that. We were inside the courtyard and it was totally quiet. Clean. Breakfast was minimal. Walking distance (10 min) to boardwalk and 20 min to downtown open air mall. Wireless worked. Fridge and microwave at... More

The dumpy room was quiet enough for a good night sleep, but the separate bedrooms, worn-out rug and dilapidated furnishings left a lot to be desired. Granted that the seventy-dollar a night, off-season rate for Santa Cruz is mid-range in two-star motels. Would not stay there again.
