We stayed one night in June. Not anything bad but not anything extraordinary either. Staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was pretty good. We were in room 221 ( right over the office) and the layout of the room was odd to me. Had a nice shower but needs a light in the shower- it was kind of... More

This is my second time staying at this property. The rooms and the property in general are VERY clean. We had a two bedroom, first floor. Queen and futon in one room, king in the other. There is a little sitting area outside the bedrooms with a table and two chairs. Microwave and mini fridge is located in a cabinet... More

The Seaway Inn is perfectly adequate for those who are not ultra picky when it comes to their accommodations. The rooms are small but clean and cute. The location is the biggest selling point of this place. Its very close to the boardwalk (3 minute stroll). The one negative I would have to report on is the friendliness of one... More

Thank you for your review. I am happy that you thought that our little in is well located and "cute." I was not happy to hear that you received such treatment from my staff, in regards to parking. Of course, we allow our guests to park if they are early, even if the room isn't ready. Since our lot is... More

There are many motels/hotels in the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk area. You really have to be careful if you have a family and want a safe location because there can be some really seedy areas in Santa Cruz. This motel was lovely. I went on a trip with a small Girl Scout troop and we needed a room that could... More

Thank you for your review! I apologize that you were not informed that two adults could not sleep on the futon, I do usually inform guests of that upon booking and suggest two small children would be better, so my apologies if that information did not get told to you. I was happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay,... More

This hotel is very cute! The location is excellent and the view is great. Comfy beds! The shared balcony area is so nice for relaxing and looking out at the ocean. Rooms are small but cozy. The complimentary breakfast is pretty good with waffle maker, cereals, juice, coffee, bagels and fruit. I would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed at the Seaway Inn twice before and everything was great. We usually stay downstairs in one of the corner rooms as there are two bedrooms but seeing as how it was spring break they were booked to full capacity. My mother and I stayed in one of the upstairs rooms with two beds and brought our kitty as... More

Thank you for your honest and straight forward review of our property. This is a good place to stay in Santa Cruz. It is across the street and down a bit from the beach and a little further is the wharf with shops and restaurants and sea lions galore. Just a block down the other direction is West Cliff Drive where you can get your daily walk in with a wonderful view... More
