We weren't displeased at all because we knew what we were getting! It was perfect for us because we didn't need to sound much time in the hotel. We're more adventurous. It's about a 30 minute walk to the boardwalk even though they say ten, and there are some good restaurants around. It was great for what it was--Cheap!

We just recently spent a week going along the coast. Arrived in Sana Cruz just around sun down one night and getting tired. Started looking for a hotel away from the pier. They where all full, than came here and they had 1 room left, so we took it. ($191.09) Worst place in all my years of travel. Had a... More

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. FYI they changed their name to Oceans Lodge so dont be like me and mix this up from Oceans Pacific Lodge(which is a great place) the rooms are dirty and stink. The lobby is dirty and smells like Indian Food. The place was awful and staff was rude. I can not stress how bad this place is.... More

Lovely, accommodating gentleman behind the front desk made us feel welcome & safe. The awesome lady @ his side was just perfect and super helpful. This dynamic duo were true to their advertising & then above and beyond our expectations. Not every "alleged" pet-friendly hotel is this awesome. Our cat loved all the warm fuzzy blankets & our dog fell... More

We were told we'd have a non-smoking room, but the room reaked of tobacco and was clearly not non-smoking. The shower was so dirty that no one would take one. The neighboring room was extremely loud and this was not addressed other than to have them close the door. In the morning, there was yelling in the parking lot and... More

We stayed at this hotel because it was only $60/night and by the end of our one night stay we wish we would have spent that extra money for a different hotel. the walls are so thin that we heard the guy next door farting, hocking loogies, singing to himself, and whistling. The shower leaked and there were ants in... More

Nice people managing the motel, very helpful. Recently renovated bathroom; otherwise, very modest accommodations, which I don't mind. However, the mattress was beyond worn out. My moderately arthritic back is still aching from last night's attempted sleep, and I've been up and out of the bed for over 4 hours.

Stayed here one night with my daughter. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant & courteous. Charged $79 (not including tax). Was told there was no AAA discount "on the $79 room." The room had one queen bed with a mini fridge, MW, & large TV (27" ?). No hair dryer. Bathroom was very roomy with a large... More

Wow, where do I start. Ok, this is the property on 1015 Ocean blvd, not to be confused with the other location further north. I called them directly to book this room mainly because they were referred to me by another hotel. I had my little dog with me and needed a place that accepted pets. When we got there... More
