The outside of this motel and its location leaves a lot to be desired. Its industrial with small businesses. However, the rooms are well appointed, with crown molding, sueded bed covers and nice size sueded throw pillows. The bed was comfortable as well as the bed pillows. The tile work in the bathroom is equally nice. Just be careful not... More

I try to support mom and pop restaurants and motels when I travel so this motel was for me. It is a little off I-5 but easy to find and not difficult to return. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a room up front and did not have issues with road or train noise. We did leave... More

Stayed here one night in order to visit Magic Mountain. This is your basic independent hotel with slightly nicer upkeep than a typical independent hotel. The inside of the room was clean, the bathroom was huge, a nice modern flat screen TV, typical mini-fridge. Only shampoo, no conditioner. The bed, floor and all areas of the room were clean and... We stayed on 8/7-8/8, 2014. This motel was perfect for our trip. I was a little worrisome because of the price and that it was marked as a 1-star motel. The owner called to confirm our reservation the day before and told us he only had smoking rooms available, which wouldn't work for us since my spouse has Asthma. He... More

Reserved a room after checking reviews on trip advisor. After a long drive from Yuma had a late check in. Helpful desk clerk, clean and updated room. Nice landscaping and clean parking lot. Happy to find a small fridge and microwave. Located right off of highway so there was traffic noise but did not bother us. Had a good rest... More

We stayed here for two nights in June, we wanted somewhere cheap, clean and with internet and this is what we got. The only bad thing was that we were woken by the trains that went past. The breakfast in a morning is just a pastry.

On my way to Palm Desert from Sunnyvale(I5) needed to stop for the night. Selected Hotel from reviews in 'tripadvisor'. I was not disappointed. Reached the Hotel ~1pm after 5 hours of continuous driving, in the heat, on I5. The folks were very gracious, the room205 was marvelous, updated, everything brand sparkling new, small refrigerator, microwave, big firm bed, bright... More

Made the reservation on line. On arrival there was a small difference in price for a room on the ground that I had requested. Very small lobby, and only coffee and some plastic wrapped dough for the continental breakfast. The room was clean, and the beds were all right. We had a good nights rest. The area here is close... Just a few minutes from Six Flags Magic Mountain, Target and a myriad of restaurants. This is a fantastic basic motel. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff and super location. The rooms are very, very clean and modern. Beds VERY COMFORTABLE. Our room was at the end of the building and so there was a small amount of road noise but... More

The Santa Clarita Motel is a good place to stay in Newhall, California. It is close to the downtown restaurants, etc and the room rates are very reasonable. The rooms are basic but are clean and have everything you need for an overnight stay.
