Not sure why this hotel would appeal to anyone besides a conference. Tired overpriced rooms, mediocre amenities, disinterested staff and overall low end experience. Asked for a 30 minute extension for checkout (which is 11 btw) and told. Interesting based on the hundreds of other rooms. As an alternative, I was told I could stores bags. Wouldn't stay here again.... More

Concierge level is great. Pool Super. Rooms spotless. Plenty of parking. All and all you will be very pleased. Would not hesitate to stay here all the time! Not one negative, Opening of LEVI stadium which is a test for a crazy weekend. The Marriott sales thru beautifully but the 49ers lost on 9-14!

I stayed over the past 15 years several times in the Santa Clara Marriott. It is a very nice hotel, with good breakfast buffet [fruits, cereals, several other choices] which are good to have while on business travel. Overall, one has to say that some of the furniture and looks of the buildings start to show some tear and wear.... More

I have stayed here a few times, our office is a short walk away. Excellent stay - from the service at check-in, the stay and restaurant. The reception area and restaurants are to a very high standard, the rooms are older and quaint - though anything more modern wouldn't be in keeping! Service throughout the stay was excellent, from help... More

My family chose to stay at this hotel as we visited for Stanford commencements back in June. It was nearly filled to capacity, but did not feel crowded at all. The staff sent complimentary treats to our room and rooms were comfortable and very clean. The lobby is a great place to meet with business acquaintances or friends for coffee.... More

I stay in quite a few Marriott's throughout the year and so far this is the best Concierge experience. I was on the tenth floor and the evening snacks were adequate for a meal, unusual. Usually it's finger food. Most lounges are crowded in the morning but this one takes the downstairs sports bar and opens it as the Concierge... More

This is an interesting Marriott that attempts to cater to both Silicon Valley business travels as well as leisure travelers for nearby attractions (Great America Amusement Park, Levi's Stadium events, etc.). It is quite large and sprawling with two ten story plus towers as well as some other wings. As a business travel, I like the convenient location situated between... More

Bay area is never an ideal place for holidays, especially with your family. I went to Santa Clara Marriott for a work conference during July. The hotel was good, clean and spacious. The outdoor swimming pool was good, and the hotel bar was convenient. Parking was not free but you definitely needed a car in bay area. The hotel is... More

Good room, swimming pool is deff a plus, rest and bars are OK. Stayed there for couple days during 4 th of July. Solid place for business traveler. The website claims that parking is extra, but front desk gave me a card w/no charge. Thanks. Go to the pool in the morning for a swim, no people - great

A strange hotel that has a mix of leisure and corporate customers and seems to struggle to serve both markets effectively. When I stayed there were an number of leisure groups and kids prowling the corridors, sometimes late at night. This is not the fault of the hotel, but an issue if you're looking for somewhere that's pure business. The... More
